Is Oscar De La Hoya the most overated fighter of alltime ???

    At his peak he was the highest non heavyweight draw of alltime, however he never even had a signature victory that defined his career.

    Oscar wasn't overrated, but like so many greats, drunk on the spotlight, he stayed far too long after his skills 'n reflexes diminished.

    duran beat Leonard in a close life and death match. He lost to him twice. The Leonard win is the expition to the rule. When Duran stepped up he lost.

    Barrera the first time was a great win for Pacquiao, but the second time? It might be his second best win. He never desively beat Marquez. There a good amount of people who would say he went 0-4 rather than 2-1-1. De La Hoya had no bussiness at 147. Hatton was on the down side. Morales beat him the first time Pacquiao waited for him to decline before fighting him again. He took a long time to give Marquez a rematch after their draw too.
    Pacquiao just beat names who had seen better days. When matched up with a top rate oppoent who's not either past it or otherwise compermrised such as Cotto at a catchweight and rehydration clause. He's ordnary.

    He ROBBED himself against Trinidad

    Mosley was no longer the same in the second fight, however in the first he whupped De La Hoya's ass.

    He might be a little overrated by some, but on the flip-side, he is surely underrated by others, as well. He was quite a good fighter at one point.

    Yeah right, DLH if anything gets underrated.

    James Toney has probably the most overrated resume of anyone that's almost universally regarded as a hall of famer.
