Povetkin in the return with Whyte shouldn’t of been passed to fight, more than Whyte getting it right.

Wallin troubled Fury for like two rounds -- which was impressive -- but after that, Fury figured out Wallin well enough, and the fight was only close because Fury suffered that horrendous cut. I think people are reading too much into that fight. Without the cut, it would not have been close.

Breazeale has never been good and has always been a punching bag. Breazeale got lucky against Mansour and Ugonoh was always god awful despite the hype. I saw Breazeale's fight against Molina but don't recall it all -- I'll choose to assume even Molina roughed him up.

I don't want to criticize Wallin too much as I do think he's very skilled and high ranking, but not top 5.

Dude was getting backed up and wailed on by a Breazele that has two careers worth of brain damage.

Otto doesn't have to be a huge puncher to outbox Whyte. What is Whyte's recourse in that event? He's not exactly a hustling, bustling pressure artist, and Wallin should not be as easy to follow around and sloppily chop away at as, say, Robert Helenius was. Whyte needs a dance partner to oblige him, take turns with him, as Parker frequently did, otherwise he's reduced to plodding and swinging. If Otto boxes smart, he can severely ration Whyte's opportunities to make investments to the body, gradually take some starch out of him and then mix it up with him judiciously. He hits hard enough to trouble Whyte over the course of a fight.
