I don't really see the point in demanding a catchweight for Williams since he already beat him at 160 anyway.

I am familiar with William's "chasing" big names at WW. That's his right, everyone wants a big fight. But at the same time, if they don't come, keep fighting. All Williams has done is call out bigger names while saying NO to fighters lesser known then him. Basically, he's doing to other fighters what he thinks is being done to him. No one at WW was obligated to fight him. WHen he was calling out all the big names, he was 2-1 vs. Ring Ranked WW's, with 0 successful title defenses. nd at the time, those big names were fighting one another, so Williams was just the odd man out.

If he can make 147, I really think he should prove it. He could have fought Cintron at 147, but for some reason, kept it at 154.

I really like Williams, but I don't understand some of his choices, which I do put more on Goosen then him.

It does not make any sense, especially since he is still saying he wants to fight the guys at 168. I don't think it will change the outcome, but Sergio, being the champion, should not have allowed this.

    Allowed what?

Sergio wanted to fight Angulo at 155....no need to whine about Williams at 157.

I still say Williams will out hustle Martinez ,Martinez gets tired after the seventh round every fight. If Williams keeps his punches down the middle its over.

Actually that was a benefit to el Perro. Shaw knew it was a bad style match up for Angulo and stated in the press they wouldn't fight Martinez at 160. So when Dibella got tired of waiting for Williams and made shaw the offer, they offered the middleweight title at 155(advantage to Angulo) and Angulo if he lost would have had his next fight televised by HBO back at the 154 limit.

Williams 157 catch weight is setting up a pac catchweight fight for all the titles from 147-160 if Williams wins. Pac is goin to weigh 147 P-Dub is going to weigh 155 and they will fight for Pac's 145 pound title, his 151 pound title and the 155 middleweight title that Paul will put up if he beats martinez.
