is Pac a better fighter than Oscar?

I respect your opinion but be reminded that DLH lost a lot of big fights!

pac lost to morales 2004...them the last one was way back in the 90's..

Pac's better, i'd say he can probabbly beat every LW

cant say the same for DLH @ JMW...his reflexes aint the same and he just aint as sharp, though he aint shot like Roy Jones

i'd say he's down to a B+ fighter these days, which isn't bad but Pac is A+

Damn, you come up with some good ones, Dawg. I thought about this for a min. and I voted 4 Pac. I think Pac is a better skilled and more versitile fighter @ 135 than DLH is @ 154.

 

Oscar is better. Below MW I think he's amazing tbh - I believe he's only lost to Mosley -1st fight- and to Mayweather under 160. And they're the defining fights of certain HOF's (assuming the voters don't punish Mosely for his indiscretions).

 

There are different advantages each men have. If both were equal in Physical size and demensions then the cirtieria of comparing these two fighters would look like this:

Style: Pac is improving, more of a pressure, relentless volume puncher
Style: DLH is more of a technican, Sharp counter puncher with ability to adapt with his vast boxing skill set.

Experience: DLH has a slight edge but PAC has been to the BIG stage many times himself

Speed: EQUAL...in his Prime DLH was every bit as fast as a Prime PAC

Chin: DLH

Power: PAC has a slight edge if both men were equal in size but not by that much.

Talent: Equal IMO....both men have supreme talent and both have harnest as much talent as possible in their careers

Style makes fights and these two men are pretty even when it comes down to their ability, talent and speed. But I think PAC not having as strong a chin as DLH and not being quite as polished would be reaons enough for me to pick DLH if everything was even on in terms of Size, weight, demensions ect.

Both have great footwork with great power and speed. They both have the ability to go up in weight and be very successful but what seperates DLH is that he has the ability to box. He has the ability to backpeddle outboxing people and he has showed in the pass he can be very successful at it. Of course he did it against Trinidad even though he lost a lot of people thought he won. He has showed it against other top quality fighters as well. I dont think Pacquiao has the ability to box to be honest with you. Keep in mind I am a bigger fan of Pacquiao then DLH so this aint no bias view going on here. :thumbsup
