To be fair, those are two undercard fights featuring very exciting fighters. Better than them filling it up with crap though one more great fight would've been nice. Over in England we get Khan vs. ***an, Maccaranelli vs. Banks, Harrison vs. Rogan (should be a laugh if nothing else) and the three aforementioned fights for 19.99!
Exactly. Having Ortiz and Lopez on the undercard is really great for us fans, and the main event should be worth the price alone. I'm not a believer in that Pacquiao has a chance, but I still think that for as long as it lasts, it'll be a entertaining fight. Both Ortiz and Lopez will probably be involved in main events themselves in a few years. Good undercard.
Considering the Americans are paying 50 bucks for it and we're getting more fights, we're paying slightly less (they're paying about 30 british pounds in comparison)
I don't think it's just GB that is guilty of that. I must admit though, it's hard being a Boxing fan in England. No HBO, no Showtime, and no Top rank. We get them sometimes, but rarely.
The UK card is Class much better than Ricky and the Prizefighter's. The only problem is the clash with the Carl Froch fight on ITV.
Ninebar. So if I pay for the Hoya vs Pacquiao card, do I get the Harrison card aswell as the Ortiz and Lopez fights?
Not when DLH publicly went on record to tell the fans that Golden Boy Promotions was "going to clean up boxing." That's some fake bulls**t so far.
the uk card beig ppv is a joke!!! good job I get it for free Also its a joke that ANYTHING on tv at 4am is PPV FFSatsch Finally sky box office show adds, in America a company would get taken to the cleaners if they tried the above. Its not a good deal :----([/quote] how is it a joke its pure value for money. rogan vs harrison, ***an vs khan, banks vs macca, ortiz vs resto, juanma vs medina, pacman vs de la hoya, all for £20.00 come on man thats well worth it
I like the UK card better than the DLH/Pac card. The UK card has fights that are actually competitive, the Pac/DLH fight has 2 showcase bouts and a mismatch for a main event.
