Martinez stated that he would not fight below 154 and Pac has stated that he will not fight above 147 again. Given their size difference, do you feel a fight between the 2 is realistic and should happen?

    Vote and state your reason.

at 154 yeah maybe, but neither would get credit with a win, pac would win vs a weight drained martinez and martinez would win vs a small pac that had no business at 154. I would like to see it thogh think it woulld be great. but bob arum will never do this, everything is inhouse. Next will be marquez at 147 perhaps and after that maybe cotto again. Its just milking at this point, next year martinez will be 37 there will be little point to this match up then.

    No.

Martinez is too high risk low financial reward for Pacquiao.

    No.
I want it to happen and I think it should happen at 154 lbs. I doubt it will happen though. Martinez will be way too big.

This might be the first fight I go aganist Pacman since Morales.

If Pacman wins...this guy will hold top 3 ATG in my list...easy.

I'd suggest Martinez drop as this is a winnable fight, althought still not one he has the best chance in, but Pac is the most popular fighter in the world and is on a crazy streak, Martinez could end that, and take over just before his time is up.

There are a lot of delusional fans here. Pacquiao had a lot of trouble against Margarito who weighed in at 165 the night of the fight. What did Martinez weighed in at? Besides that, margarito is a huge welterweight, small jr middleweight and Pac is a huge light welterweight and some actually even consider Pac nothing more than a light weight. Pac couldn't even weigh more than 149.

I guess those who want Pac to face martinez are the same ones who are tired of losing bets against Pac because they know Pac vs Martinez they actually have a chance to gain something they lost or to actually prove Pac is nothing more than a hype job. **** what else is next? Pac vs Bute ? Dumb shits.

Yes ofcourse it is , Pacquiao has been the WBC champion @54 , an alhphabet title i know but it proves he can fight up somewhere near 154 , Martinez can make 54 so why not ??!!

Its feesible that Pacquiao could fight anybody as far up as 160 , no matter what he weigh's , this Martinez is too big theory has absolutley no weight at all !!!

no. even if the fight will be @154, martinez will still outsize pac by 20 or so lbs. during the fight. that size difference is already too much for even a great p4p fighter like pac to overcome.

I want Pac to fight him because he is seemingly unstoppable. I want him to keep moving up and up until he can't anymore, or until he retires. He is THAT good.

Pac is still human after all and pac fighting a natural middleweight is absurd.

Many *****s subscribe to the belief that if Martinez beats Pac, it is because of his skill and not because of his size. :rofl

Former super flyweight champ fighting the middleweight champ of the world at the junior middleweight limit? Realistic?

How can you call Margarito a small junior welterweight if he rehydrates to 165lb?

Pacquiao is weighing the same now as Mayweather did in the ring before he retired and he was never considered a huge light welterweight or even a lightweight at the time so we can put that one to bed too.

In fact Mayweather moved up and beat the #1 ranked junior middleweight and former middleweight champion without one of those daft catchweights despite weighing in in the late 140's for his previous fights at welterweight.

So lets cut the poor Pacquiao is being victimised bollocks.

actually, it's former flyweight champ, not super flyweight.
