I always find it very amusing on how much hate Pacquiao receives in this forum. It really does show how many people lose money and credibility when they bet against pacquiao.

by the way, whatever happened to Martinez saying - “Pacquiao is too small. It would be a mismatch.”

I have no idea why somebody would bet money against Pacquiao in his recent fights. Only DLH was a little iffy if you had not seen his fight against "Two Pounds," but if you did, you knew DLH looked like garbage and was struggling with the weight-loss & inactivity.

    Easy fights to pick IMO.

I still think Pac should do it at 154, Martinez can make that weight for the money Pac brings to the table, and he'll be fine. No point going for 160. Bob Arum can certainly pull some strings, like he did in the Margo fight and make this fight for a vacant 154 title, if Pac wins, he's the legit champ of champs at 154, and that's enough imo.

Pac weighs 148/49 in his fights, Martinez 170+ (as much as 174 for Pavlik). Be realistic.

It's unfair to expect Pac to go up and fight someone so much bigger. Have we forgotten he is only a small 5-6 frame with only a 67" reach and already gone up 9 or so divisions?

Reports are Margarito's punches sent Pac to a hospital bed for 36 hrs lying in the fetal position. Pac is too small to fight full 154-160 lbers.

Pac is also the p4p #1 and doesn't have anything else to prove after all he's achieved. If Martinez badly wants the fight he needs to sacrifice and get down to the low 150s and ensure he doesn't come in too heavy on fight night for this fight to have any fairness to it and any chance of happening.

That's not going to happen, so fans should stop talking about this fight as if it could happen.

If Manny's too small for a larger opponent that's actually good, maybe his fans should stop touting him as some ATG giant slayer. Change your avatar or tell Pac to man the **** up.

Ok man, Cotto, Hatton, Clottey, Margarito were no good. Boxing is all a hoax since these guys were rated the best from 140-147 for so many years.

And do you hear what you're saying?.. Pac needs to man up and fight someone who outweighs him by over 20lbs? :-(

Should Martinez man up and fight super middleweights, light heavies and cruisers since he's gotten so much credit for beating the best from 154-160 as a former welter?

Manny isn't no Roberto Duran. He would get iced if he fought Martinez. Actually at 154 Martinez might be weight drained. So Pac would have a chance. At 156 he gets iced. Plus Freddie Roach is not putting Manny in that fight.

No one is calling Martinez a giant slayer, bringing up his victories in different weight classes, or putting up photoshopped avatars of him in the ring with Vitali. Yeah, I think you should stfu too...

“Pacquiao is too small. It would be a mismatch.” -Martinez

"Sergio is on fire now and Sergio will fight five times, two more times this year and three times in 2012," DiBella said. "It's his time, his time to be really active. We've forgotten about Pacquiao, we know we won't get Manny, he's just too small." -Dibella

apparently, some posters here don't see this

It's an avatar dickhead. Pac has been compared to Ali with his impact on boxing.. who the **** is saying Pac will beat Ali.. or any middleweights for that matter?

Some fans are calling Martinez the best p4p now, based on his few wins at 154-160. He is calling out Pac two divisions below him. He can get away with not challenging himself against the super middles, yet Pac gets hated on like he has something to prove by fighting a guy who will outweigh him by 20lbs.

The double standards on here regarding Pac are beyond ridiculous.

Hell no! Pac fighting at 154 was for the record books...he had no business there just like People doing crazy things that could kill them trying to accomplish some record. You dont see them doing that constantly. That would be brave and stupid and those thinking otherwise needs to get in the ring and do it themselves. Pac belongs at 140-147...max and thats pushing it already. His ability to win at these higher weights is already an impressive achievement.
