Personally I think Floyd would have beat him in 2009 although it would have been a lot more competitive due to Manny's speed but now Floyd would not only dominate him, he would embarrass him, Manny gets so sloppy and Floyd (even in his fight with Cotto) was rather precise and technical

Will have to see how and if this jail time has effected him but considering Floyd is the older man he has shown more durability than Pacquiao by not taking the punishment that Pac has in fights against Morales, Barrera, Marquez, Cotto etc.

The thing about fighting Mayweather is you have to be at your absoloute best to be in a shot of beating him (Leonard, Hearns and Robinson aside) there are few fighters who would be able to outbox floyd or even get to him to knock him out and sadly Pac missed his chance thanks to uncle bob pulling the strings from behind the curtains

I can't believe I have to spell this out for fully functioning adults, but here it goes: JUST BECAUSE A FIGHTER IS BLACK DOES NOT MEAN HE IS SLICK.

There, neither Mosly or Clottey are slick fighters. If you can't understand that, then... just wow.

See? You don't even know what the **** you're talking about. Not all black fighters are slick. And not all slick fighters are black. Martinez is slick as hell. So is Abril.

Depends if Manny doesn't slack off in his training or lose focus, which I believe he's done the past few fights. Currently though I'd give the edge to Mayweather, but if both train their asses off and come prepared to win then it's a toss up.

not as big a threat as he was 2 years ago. pusy mayweather didn't want the risk. it will forever be a blemish on his record.

Was he not beatable when he went life and death with Juan Manuel Marquez in 2008? Or was he not beatable when he went life and death again with him in 2012?

Is there a period in which he failed to have the flaws that consistently see him have trouble with certain fighters?

    Because I don't think so.

The three Marquez fights are an acceptable barometer in which to gauge the level of and performance of Pacquiao.

The same flaws he had in each fight are the same reason everybody thinks he will be beaten by Floyd.

Logic tells you that because Manny appears to be a shell of his former self. However its not like Floyd does not get hit, his last fight he was hit allot, he also had fought a close fight with DLH, was hit an awful lot when he faced Castillo.
Floyd is not swe pea, Floyd does get hit, Judah, and Corley were able to crack him guys with speed and guys who are left handed were able to buzz him.
with that said Manny is still a threat to Floyd, as I believe though Manny is faded, Floyd to is on the downslide, and Manny may be able to find a way to get himself up for this fight and if that happens Floyd has no chance if the Pac that fought Hatton shows up the one who fought Cotto or Margarito if that Manny shows up Floyd has no chance.
However I get the feeling that we are going to see the same one we have seen now for three fights in a row, and with that said Floyd knocks him out under 9

There is no 'Pacquiao that fought Hatton' There is only one Pacquiao.

If the 'Pacquiao that fought Hatton' instead on that same date fought Juan Manuel Marquez, what would have happened?

There would have been no 2nd round KO, no brutal beatdown, no certain victory for Pacquiao

It would have been the same thing that happened in all their other fights.

Ricky Hatton running face first into punches is what got him sparked out in two rounds, Pacquiao was no different to what he was 10 months before against Marquez, as proved by them fighting again 3 years later and there was very little difference in performance.

Hatton is not in Mayweather, or Marquez for that matter, league, and to suggest that because of his complete inability to stymie Pacquiao in any way whatsoever, that Floyd would have had 'no chance' is beyond laughable.

    Look at their common opponents

Cotto Pac beat down and stopped Floyd went 12 in a competitive fight

Mosley Pac beat down dropped and made Mosley want to quit, while Floyd went 12 pot shotted dominated but was cracked and on ***** street

DLH, we know the deal here Weight drained shot beat to **** by pac expected, However Floyd barely won his fight against Floyd a single point SD

Hatton Floyd struggled with, went into the late rounds was pushed back bullied a bit, Manny made short work of him.

Marquez Floyd did not honor the contracted weight agreement simply so he can have an advantage and make the case that he is the better fighter of the two all while pacquiao fought Marquez twice at Marquezs best weight in his prime and dropped him 3 times in fight one in round one....

I can go on and on about this ****, but to just write pacquiao off because you want to suck Floyds dick does not make you a true fight fan I am not sure what the *****s here are telling you in order for you to qualify as a true fight fan but sucking Floyds **** is not part of the deal :deal
