It can't have helped to lose boxings biggest star to your immediate rival but HBO boxings' been taking alot of knocks under him. Their best rating last year for WCB was lower than the fight that set the record low in 2007 (Calzaghe-Kessler) something was bound to happen.

Losing pac was the nail on the coffin

 

Thats got to be ruff for HBO losing Pac and they were the ones who breeded Mayweather into the Money attention ***** he is, now they are going to have to deal with it. Tuff road ahead.

 

The real crime is that Greenburg no doubt walked away with a huge severence(sp) package. An insider like him probably already has another job lined up that is just as if not more lucrative.

 

davis got axed first, he is to be replaced by Dan Rafael. Next to be axed is greenburg, to be replaced by a certain Yahoo executive. Top rank is winning. HBO couldn't deal with losing the biggest promoter in the sport and the biggest star in boxing. not when there is showtime and CBS had taken interest with the sport again

 

Pac, Aram, Klitschkos, etc etc etc.......

plus jamming guys like ARREOLA down our throats.... just bad all around decisions is what got him canned

 

He put out a really good documentary about the UNLV Runnin' Rebels
