Is Pac viewed at a higher standard than anyone else in boxing?

  1. Yeah he had two fights canceled against Clottey in October, because Nazim told Mosley to avoid that fight, because Clottey gives everyone a tough fight, and Berto, I think in Jan/Feb, got canceled because of the Hatti earthquake.

Mosley had been in a 5 month training camp, and showed the signs of over training in the fight with Mayweather, he was tight and he suffered fatigued.

The 17 month lay off and the prolonged training camp affect Mosley bad.

He was in much better shape when he face Pacquiao, still nowhere prime, but in better condition than the one Mayweather faced.

Pac is held to a higher standard and constantly has to prove the experts wrong.

i'm just saying what i saw in the ring. it was the same old mosley that fought mora and manny

if you think you saw a better mosley against floyd than the one that fought mora, then explain your reasoning, but it looked the same to me.

What you see in the ring will be biased because you love Pacquiao. The fact is, Mosley called Pac, Pac said no after he looked great against Margarito.

Mosley called Floyd out (Marquez post fight) and everyone said Floyd would duck the fight because of how great Shane looked....and then Floyd signs on a couple months later to fight Shane.

Pacquiao may seem like he's held to a higher standard because his fans continue on about each fight like it's the best fight ever when it's not.

The Oscar win was amazing although Roach said he saw IV marks, Cotto win was amazing even though he had to come down in weight to defend HIS title (and as soon as he got from under Top Rank said he sacrificed his body and won't do it again, oh no real trainer too?), Clottey win was amazing (where the hell has he been since the fight?, wasn't his trainer denied access over here?), amazing win over recently suspended weaponless Margarito for the 154lb belt at 150 (8 weight champion ya!!!! LOL), amazing win over Mosley after he won 1 round against Mayweather and drawing with The Contender winner Sergio Mora, and of course JMM III at 144 where he was beat 12-0 by Mayweather.

Realize those are good wins, but not what Pac fans make them out to be.. Grip reality and Pac won't get as much criticism.

Damn good win over Hatton, I don't care that Mayweather KTFO of him earlier. This win and those others are NOT on the same level, quit acting like they are.

I KEEP SAYING I RESPECT FLOYD FOR FIGHTING MOSLEY WHEN HE DID.

But the fact is the mosley that turned up was Old Man Mosley. Same mosley that Pac fought.

    Your so dumb

I think Cotto and Margo wins are better than the Hatton one personally.

Oh yeah? What was his standing at welterweight, or P4P at the times they fought him?

Not what was being said in the 2nd round. Everyone at my fight party was saying Shane would KO him as was everyone in the arena.

By the 4th round Floyd had him handcuffed and was in the zone.

Same would happen with Sergio who is #3 in the world as Shane was and would be 38.

You would resort to, well Sergio looked old in that fight.

This guy is one bias mutha ****a with horrible posts on ESB.

i will repeat as slow as i can.

I respec Floyd for fighting Mosley. He was ranked highly and had a belt. But he hadn't fought for 15 months, and when he turned up and got in the ring. He looked the same as he did against Manny and Mora.

How is this not going in.

Yes floyd gets credit cos he was the champ and ranked. But when he got in the ring he was old

yes that one. I've watched both fights a couple of times.. And Margo definetly made a much tougher fight than hatton. Without question.

The Margo that lost to pac beats the hatton that lost to pac.
