Margarito hadn't fought at 147 in 22 months, he struggled to make weight against Mosley as well. Margarito was drained against Pac, end of.

I don't WANT Mayweather v Martinez to happen at 150, i never said i did. I want that fight to happen at 154+ if it happens. I want Floyd to fight guys at their comfartable weight, like he always has done. Unlike Pacquiao.

Your an absolute moronic hater at its finest.

Hatton was the reigning 140 king coming off one of his best victories. Hatton fought twice at 147 and looked poor in both. He was lucky to beat collazo

A healthy Cotto would not stop Pac. Cotto has always said he felt good at the weight. Your speculating.

Margarito was a career 147 fighter. 150 was completely fine for him. No chance was he weight drained.

He fought morales twice at 130. SO he definetly wasn't drained the 1st time where he was ko'd, otherwise he wouldn't have agreed to fight a 3rd time at the same weight.

Its just unnecesary hate from butt hurt marquez or floyd fans.

not the same. cotto was huge and bound to go up. also, one pound means more at the lower weights.

If it was 1 pound, why even ask for the Catchweight then ?

Hatton, always looked like that. He was the master at getting down to 140. He'd made a career of it.

If morales was drained in the 2nd fight at 130, he wouldnt have a greed a 3rd fight at the same weight. Have you ever fought drained? If you had you wouldn't make such a rediculous statement. If he was in the 3rd and out grew the division, thats not mannys fault.

Find me a quote that Margo was drained. He could have made 147 if he had to. Those 3 lbs benefited only margo who was massive on fight night. he looked 3 divisions bigger than manny. Yet you call him drained. Haha, - Moron

Alex Ariza, Pacquiao's conditioning trainer said on an interview with
    This content is protected
that prior to todays press-con he saw a devastated Margarito, "When I saw Margarito today when he did an interview, he look emaciated. He looked gaunt. It looked like he came from a run at 8 o’clock at night. This makes no sense to me."

Ariza was having his looks on Margarito trying to figure out his condition, "Margarito clearly is killing himself to make the weight, so now I’m even more confident that Manny is not going to have much of a problem,” said Ariza.

Because Clotte is a very good fighter.

The point was it was a 147 fight, and cotto weighed 146. So he's a comfortable welter.

I don't know who either of thoese people are.

What i do know is. Andre Ward rose to the top of peoples p4p list by beating dawson.

Once ward is at the top of boxing, and is viewed at to a higher standard. People will discredit that victory, as nothing more than beating up a drained fighter.

As of now, he gets a pass.

You can complain he hadn't done anything to contest for a vacant title at 154/150, and you'd be right. But drained? Marg was a pro at cutting weight, that was one of his best skills. That's the first time I heard Marg was drained for Pac, he sure brought stamina and chin to the show. What Cotto tried to pull on Marg next was 10 times worse.
