Yes, but he requested 150 and got vetoed by Marg. He also asked for a 160 rehydration limit, LMAO. You know he was 159 fight night vs Urkal in 2007? Very strange growth patterns on this guy

Isn't it Mayweather that gets hated a lot? Most hated boxer here on ESB by far.

Him being 159 against Urkal was 6 years ago, what's your point ? Do you expect him to be the same weight for years ?? As of right now, he may not be able to make 150.

Human beings don't take beatings like Cotto and Margarito did without being in exceptional physical condition, no amount of GED level logic will change this fact.

    You have a point.

It's just more of a clash between two group of fanboys who wants to degrade the other guy for their personal gratification and indulgence in self-denial for the what their boy is lacking.

The backlash would be even all the fans who view things at a fair angle get alienated and begins to get turned off more with the guy they're not a fan of.

Since this is about Pacquiao, I have to say they are too particular with the catchweights and it's relevance even when there are evidences to the contrary. And, there's too much weight put on the testing issue not realizing that now they are also questioning Pacquiao due to what Mayweather's allegations are (not remembering that they never even thought of it before Floyd Sr started taking about it), but now that the Mayweathere's recanted, they are still insisting about it.

Yeah, the 5'7" Cotto with his 67" reach just couldn't handle making 147 anymore...it's obvious his natural weight is at 154. Uh huh, brilliant deductive reasoning.

Dude he was 159 fight night 6 years ago, and last year he asks for 150 Cw with 160 fight night. While defending his 154 belt. You're telling me he hit his growth spurt since then. Since jan 2012 in fact, when he goaded Pac into offering him 150

  8. I think the responses in this thread proved the point.

Pacquiao has achieved more than any other boxer in history, he has broken records and he has done it style, blasting his way through one weight class after another.

We will never see the likes of it again, but despite this people still want more.

He has raised the bar so high, surpassed so many expectations, that now people expect it everytime and now demand the imposible.

I'm just consider myself lucky to witness this great boxing warrior at his best.

He looked like **** against Lazcano. Hardly call that a win. The ref had to save him in the 10th as Ricky was rocked and wobbled by a check left coming in. Lazcano had no power above 140 and only decent power (if that) at 135.

You dummy whatever he requested can be viewed as negotiation purposes.

The FACT is it was at 153 man. Don't come on here acting like you know something when it's clear you have a ****ing agenda.

well Floyd fough Mosley when he was ranked number 3 p4p, number 1 at WW and coming off his second biggest win.

Pacquiao fought Mosley after coming off a loss and a draw to Sergio Mora and after declining to fight Mosley at 142 a year before because "he was too good"
