Is Pac vs Cotto gonna get the push that May vs JMM is?

Didnt they hype the ricky hatton fight and yet that fight was over in 2 rounds:huh

I would rather watch 12 rounds of two master boxers than a fight that wont even go 5 rounds.

If you wanna see someone get Knockout in the first 6 minutes tune into UFC then flick back over to a master class:bbb

Actually this is part of a business decision, a business risk taking...

These fight promotions incur some additional expenses and if the fight won't pick up additional sales then the promotional expenses will add to the financial loses...

The promotion for Floyd-JMM fight is quite extensive, more intense than the promotion of Floyd-Hoya "Stinko de Mayo" fight... I dunno why?? Maybe the promoters of Floyd-JMM considered this fight much bigger than the Floyd-Hoya...

It won't and the main reason or only reason is due to the promotional companies. Golden boy is the biggest promo team there is. It does the best fighter marketing around today and no one else comes close. JMM-Floyd will be 100% GBP. They know their **** and should be acknowledged for Floyds two big blockbuster events. Cotto-Pac is 100% Top Rank and Arum does some weird ****.

 

On this site, you would not think so, but both Cotto and PAc do not speak clear English, and I say that with the highest respect for both men, but neither will sell the fight. Dlh-Mayorga and Tito-Mayorga were night and day in terms of ppv sales because of Dlh. They will have to push this fight(Cotto-Dapidran) also, and Roach and Arum will do that. Floyd can sell himself and JMM with his mouth. I could be wrong, but I've seen this happen before. America will listen to the guy who speak clear English...yes, Euro's *******s and everyone else...American's are biased lol... I hope both fights get pushed to the limit.

This fight is going to sell a ton of ppv. The Tecate Promo, 24/7, WWE, the Undercard, Mexicans are the biggest consumers of boxing ppv.

 

Cotto-Pac will sell a million tickets no matter what anyone does or doesn't do. I imagine it will get plenty of hype though.

 

its still a little early to push Pac vs Cotto. That fight already has a buzz going and you don't want people to get tired of talking about it too soon. Keeping it at a buzz until early October is the right move.

JMM will make more than he has in his entire career...pac included.
