Is Pac vs Cotto gonna get the push that May vs JMM is?

Either way it shows you how unpopular the sport is, when big fights need to be hyped up. That's whats bad about HBO PPV its not who fights who its who can hype it up

thats because lower weight fighters dont crack anything on PPV.

thats the real reason why floyd took a diffrent stance after gatti....he fought everyone before then because the money wasn't so lucrative

I honestly think that Gloden Boy has some deal with HBO to where GBP fighters get 24/7 spots before their fights. Not sure if this is true but every 24/7 has a golden boy fighter. Cotto and PAC are not Golden boy fighters. PAC vs DLH had of course Oscar. Well, Jones vs Joe...:think

Well its universally agreed that Cotto-Pac will be the better fight so it basicly promotes itself and Pacs huge popularity but the Mayweather fight has well Mayweather so its gonna do good numbers I believe because people will want to see either 2 things Mayweather get beat or him winning to set up the Pacman fight. Also id like to add that the reason Cotto-Pac might not be getting the mainstream hype is that their not American fighters and in comparison dull characters to Mayweather.

In the United States I would say both PPV and boxing in general.

The Bobfather will pour the hype machine on when the time comes.

Not to worry. Arum will do what he can to outsell FMJ/JMM. He's a Harvard lawyer and a promoter for the longest time. He'll come out w/ something like a blockbuster under card, I hope.
