If Cotto could neutralize both Mosley's and Judah's speed, does that mean Pacman is faster then both of them considering that Cotto could not handle Pac? Or is it just a difference in styles? Or the combo of both speed and power which Cotto may have never tasted before? Or are people going to of course say that Cotto was "shot"? Judah's speed (and style) gave Floyd trouble for a few rounds. Interesting to start thinking what Pacs speed will do.
Pacquiao speed is diff than Judah or Mosley What people fail to notice and realize is that Pac's overall speed is better from head to toe and the ability to throw combination punches with Speed+Power non stop Judah is fast but he don't throw combinations like Pac, Judah maybe fast in headmovements and 1-2 lightning speed combo but he can't dart in and out side to side and relentless combination punches like Pacquiao can
yeah, he faster but not by a great deal. the about pac is hes an unorthodox combiantion puncher. he was catching cotto from several different angles. pac was hurting cotto when pac was going backwards. cotto had never had to deal with soemthing like that before. and pac threw alot more and countered better then mosley and judah so his speed advanatge was more profound. when he faced cotto.
Kids got all the talent in the world, world class skill and no trainer, program or idea that at the elite level you cant go with your homeboys and yesmen that you have to have the best available cornerman & trainers. That you must continue to learn and improve working on your weaknesses. Cotto should retire as he plans no changes to the team so what you see is what you get he will continue to regress.
It's his angles. Shane and Zab throw from conventional angles with conventional footwork. Manny has the same speed, but it's legitimately two fisted and in a style that is very difficult to prepare for. He's also a far more resilient athlete than Judah. Is he really faster than Shane and Zab from point to point? I don't think so, but packaged all together with his other abilities, he's simply a better fighter.
