Bottom line: Some fans are oblivious to the rampant PED use that has gone on since the 1970's across all sports. Some people are not.

In the end, it's cultural, and his opponents (even those never suspected) are just as certain to be on some PED as he is. This is why the fighters demanding random testing is essential. Why wouldn't more fighters than Maywether, his opponents, and Donaire do this? Why don't fighters, trainers, and media get outraged when someone tests positive for PED's and is back fighting in 5 months? Why don't the opponents who just got cheated into defeat care? Because: it's cultural and just about literally everyone is on PED's.

 

Some of his opponents from 2010 onwards have been garbage and he hasn't always impressed, but he's a definite ATG no ifs, ands or buts about it. All things considered he's the greatest of our era.
