I guess the media in general appreciates pacquiao positively. He was in thhe Time magazine, he was in the 60 Minutes, etc. I also think that boxing writers in general are fully appreciative of pacquiaos accomplishments, including the Boxing Writers Association of America. If there are fans and writers out there who do not appreciate pacquiao, it cannot be all hatred. Some have flip flopped, though because the body of work of pacquiao is undeniably great.

I think he's ranked number 1 by most in here so no. Those who dont are either PBF fans or just plain haters. He is treated like any #1 fighter gets treated.

What do you expect? This is not PACLAND!! Guys here love those boxers where Pac annihilated them. So theres no need to explain.

And also those boxers who are yet to fight Pac.

i rate his performances highly, and some of his so called poor opponents and poor timeing of matches is better than floyds welter career still.

pacs like one of those superbands, when they get so big and popular, people dislike them, just cuz they are so good and so many people like them.

you guys are so ****ing stupid. he's over appreciated and for the wrong reasons. Pacquiao is great for his fights with morales, barrera, and marquez. his last few fights were a 100% garbage. no legitimacy.

If its on ESB, its maybe half-half, or maybe more than half in favor of appreciating pacquiao.

Only reason clottey and margarito happen was because of the fail negotiation with mayweather. Apart from the margarito fight, clottey and cotto were a top 5 welterweights at the time pac fought them.

Hatton was # 1 @ 140 when they fought. Pac fought hatton at his best weight yet there's so much excuses about his punch resistance etc etc

Revisionist history going on by the Pac critics. Before every fight after Diaz, Pacquiao was supposed to get KTFO.

Instead, he made those guys look like chumps. It wasn't too long ago that you would have been called insane to think Pac could go toe-to-toe with top welters like Cotto, Margarito, and Clottey.
