People will argue this fight for generations, it seems. Yes - Horn used rough-house tactics. And yes - Horn won the fight.
Pac has some of the worst fans in boxing. It was a razor close fight, horn being less talented but bigger and stronger made it UGLY, which was a great gameplan because its the only way he could beat pac. And it worked. Manny was getting roughed up against the ropes.
King Joffrey Horndog AO made Manny his girlfriend that night. Put a skirt on him & let him have it. Gave it to him, Horndoggy-style. Offered him a rematch straight up, but Manny was too petrified to take it. Instead, Manny got the Filipino government to lodge an official protest with the WBO. The WBO had another three judges do a rescore & it was a ANOTHER BIG UD for King Joffrey. Afterwards, Manny fans went WBOooohoohoo.
Pretty sure he made the most anti-gay statement a known athlete has made this century. He said they were on the same level as animals. And then doubled down on his remark, citing God. Not to mention his actual voting record we could pick apart on morality. Sorry that doesn't vibe with the agenda you want to push.
Meh, I don't back Pac as a politician (he's probably a **** poor politician) and he's obviously a delusional Jesus freak. But aside from misguided homophobia statements, why else is he deserving of so much hate? I mean, Pac is misguided by religion. What was Floyd's excuses for using the f-word, which was way worse than Pac's ignorant, religion-fueled statement.
I don't think even MVC! has argued that Floyd is a great dude. The best athletes spawn hatred. If you aren't a fan, then they have probably beaten fighters you used to root for and got emotionally hurt by it. Federer fans not liking Nadal (I fit in this category). Why? Because he threatens the guy we like more. Movie fans not liking the Marvel movies (I fit in this category). Why? Because they generate a disproportional amount of discussion and fanfare over movies and genres that we prefer and feel are superior. Coke vs. Pepsi. I feel it is highly logical to occur, though specific justifications could prove problematic in debate.
Chartchai Chionoi losing to a guy who was 1-0 has always confused me. There must be some context I'm missing.
