Is Pacquiao Dumb?

    So Pac was on Kimmel the other night. I just have to ask this and this question is basically for native Tagalog speakers. How does pac come across when he is speaking in his native tongue? Is he lucid and coherent? Does he make good valid points? Id he someone who could literally have a respectable political debate?

    I ask this not because I am a pac hater. I am a fan of his boxing. But, to be honest when the guy is interviewed in English he comes across as an absolute idiot to me. I am chalking that up to his language barrier. But, is it a language barrier?

    yeah he does sound slow as hell in English, but I don't want to judge him on that since it's not his first language and he's getting better

    He does a good job then. Every time he is asked anything in english eh goes umm...ehh...umm ehh...umm... then says yes or no. Politicians need to be savvy people. I think it is the real deal.

    he clearly doesent speak english that well because its not hes first language but i hate people who confuse that with being dumb

    though iv seen some really stupid people make it into congress, pacquiao is simply not one of them

    he is uncomfortable expressing his nature in english and in american setting. watch something on his youtube channel and you'll see straight away he is very lucid in native tongue, much more at ease and louder as well.

    the klitschkos have PHD's in sport science and can speak like 4 languages

    but im sure when they speak some of those langauges they come across slow

    I want to give him a pass, but I've seen him comprehend English better than this. I think he just likes to play dumb

    I'd like to know what you are basing this statement off of? Do you speak Tagalog as a native? have you ever seen him in a political debate?

    He covers up his foolishness by laughing all the time. Also, when Kimmel was asking him about what "official business" Pac was on at the white house he basically had no answer and seemed to entirely forget what the name even of the program was he was advocating. If this was one of my elected officials I would be embarrassed.

    Trump, the new biggest american joke can at least debate and speak clearly.

    Im horrible in spanish, horrible. But, im way better than Pac is at english. I can at least make my point without sounding like a stuttering idiot.

    Besides that wasn't the question i asked was it. I asked if he sounds that dumb also speaking his native language.

    he talks a lot of sense when he's speaking in tagalog. he just couldn't express his thoughts that well in english. understandable cause it's not his language. so im pretty sure he's not dumb.

    he brushes things off, becomes distracted when on the spot. its how he interacts. i dont think he is dumb but he wil play distracted or show a short attention span and be limited in response at times.
