Crawford seems to think that staying undefeated will make him the next Mayweather. I'm basing that on how he has fought recently which is very different than how he used to fight. The old Crawford stops Postol and finishes Molina inside 5 rounds instead of 8.

For the others, I think it just has to Al Haymon who controls who they fight. Thurman...doesn't seem like the type to back down from a fight. Garcia only became a cherry picker after Haymon, Porter I'm not sure if he was offered a fight in the first place but if he was I'm sure if he had a choice he would have taken it if only because he NEEDS an opponent. Broner is delusional and I'm sure figures he would lose.

It is weird though since I think most people would take a fight like that for the money and the exposure you would get from fighting him. Factor in that you are an elite boxer and Pacquiao isn't at his peak right now and it seems like an easy decision to me.

Yeah how many times has Khan been dropped since then? Can he take a jab to the jaw at 147 after being bulldozed at Caneloweight?

In response to the Crawford fight, Crawford is a thinking fighter. If you like to bang, he moves, If you like to move , then he bangs.

Check Mikey Garcia talking about his two losses to Crawford.Mikey states Crawford danced against him the whole fight, just like he did against Postol. Crawford is like Maywether due to the fact he has different tools in the shed. He can move, he can counter, he can pressure, He can switch and adjust. Whatevers needed to get the Win

But that ISN'T needed to get the win. He could have gotten Postol out of there if he actually tried to after the 6th round, but he didn't. That fight actually hurt his stock because a lot of people found him to be boring. Same thing for the Molina fight. Molina isn't that good, drained himself trying to make weight, and didn't have a full camp. There was no need for Crawford to fight that way in that fight.

Crawford is like Maywether for that reason, he does not go for knockout when its too dangerous. he likes to hit and not get hit. Postol is a quality fighter who took out El Machina, Postol could have caught him, it was up to Postol to adjust, not Crawford, Crawford was winning.

Pretty boy Floyd was hit with the exact same criticism(AKA Being boring, blah, blah, richest and most successful boxer of all time though)
, cah these two are boxers first, and fighters second.

Now the Molina fight , I found that fight extremely entertaining, that just my opinion. He destroyed him better than El Machina, and Broner, who went 12.

In fact Crawford battered him, and left the fight with only one punch landed by Molina in 8 rounds. That was a master class. El machina and Broner got hit cleanly.

Crawford is the next May due to this factor. He wins, whether he bores you with superb skill, or if he chooses to bully the opponent like he done Lundy. 70% KO ratio, 7/10 times he takes out his guy. I like rock em sock em robots too, but I appreciate master boxing too.

It wasn't too dangerous lol. It was ****ing Molina! But that's the problem here; he is boring people. I didn't mind the Postol performance at all, but a LOT of people did. His fanbase, which already wasn't large to begin with, is dwindling. He doesn't have the personality to do what Mayweather did. This is bad for him.

Manny "Depends on my promoter Bob Arum" Pacquiao just wants a big paycheck...

The australian dude isn't going to cut it. They can't recycle Tim Bradley. Can't do Vargas or Crawford. No inhouse fighters cut it.

I never said Molina was dangerous, I meant Postol, Who do you think handled Molina better out of the three performances....

Mattyese, who got knocked down, and went life and death before KOing Molina in the 10th.

Broner who went the full 12 round decision, and got tagged a bit.

Or Crawford who didn't get touched. and stopped and dominated Molina in under 8.

How about the fact that Ohmoha Nebraska Arena are sold out when he fights, record setting for sports events in the Oracle Arena. 11,000 which it packs.....
He is a star in Nebraska.

The only way he can become global is if he goes the villain route. but it will be hard for him to do that cause unlike May, he is actually a former street dude. Boxing has changed him into a a better person. He cant play act or be an actor. its not him...he a no nonsense rugged southern guy.

Vegas will boo, cah they not his fans, in Nebraska he gets the most love. Money May ship has sailed, the next star in Boxing is from the East, in GGG, and AJ from Britain.

I compare Crawford to Money may in terms of skills, not popularity anyways. Skillwise he the closest in boxing.

Shakur Stevenson will be the next full package(Skill-wise, as well as showmanship ala Money May)
