    No.

Pac's last 5 opponents have required that Pac move UP in weight for the fights.

Floyd's last 5 fights, 4 have been against others having to move up in weight. The exception being Oscar.

Of the three common opponents in these 5 fights, Pac has won far more convincingly in 2 of the 3. Knocking out Hatton and dominating the entire fight. Causing Oscar to retired, when Oscar lost a split decision against Floyd.

JMM was forced to move up two weight classes to fight Floyd, and Floyd still didn't make the agreed upon weight.

Knocking out people who have been fighting at higher weight classes than you are, is a better Pound for Pound indicator that fighting people who are smaller than you.

I think if Mayweather wins, then yes. If Mosley wins, then Manny should stay #1 p4p. I would have an issue with Mosley being the best p4p due to him losing to Cotto not that long ago. But, I do think that the winner of Mayweather-Mosley should be the #1 welterweight.

P.S.: If Mayweather wins vs. Mosley I wouldn't be upset if Pac stays #1 p4p. I can see it either way. Pacquiao has definitely done more in a pound for pound sense to deserve his ranking. But, Floyd was #1 before his brief retirement, so like I said, I can see it either way.

Explain how Judah and Baldomir 'moved up in weight' to fight Floyd?

    Are you daft?

Judah had been at 147 for 2 years when Floyd fought him. It was Floyd's second fight at 147. Baldomir had been at 147 for his entire career. Floyd then moved up again to fight DLH. He went back down to 147 to fight Hatton, who had previously won a title at 147 against Collazo. Of the four fights only Marquez was forced to move up to a weight he had not fought at.

Pac did not move up to fight Marquez. Marquez was in his 3rd fight at 130. Pac was in his 8th. Pac moved up to fight Diaz and Oscar. He moved down from Oscar to fight Hatton. Going from 147 to 140, last I checked, is not a move up. Then he went back to 147 (kind of, 145, really) for Cotto. He made two jumps. One to fight a weak Diaz and another to fight Oscar. After Oscar he has hung around that weight.

I can't believe so many people would compare the Oscar Pac fought to the Oscar Mayweather fought.

The Oscar Pac fought could hardly stand up, and was getting is ass beat by his sparing partners in training for the fight.

No comparison, Floyd fought the MUCH better Oscar, and it isn't even close.

Because Hatton challenged Floyd for his title. Why should Floyd move down for Hatton?

Hatton beat a champion. Won the WBA title.

Doubting him? No, but to say Cotto was better than anything Mayweather has done is laughable, and it's not even close. Cotto hasn't been the same since the Margarito fight.

    He didn't clearly beat Mosley.
So now he was weight drained in those fights?

Cotto has pride, he won't make excuses for why he lost the fight.

No matter who I list, you're going to say it isn't good enough.
