    :good

People forgot that Mosley did not win over Cotto.
    Cotto was demolished by PAC

PAC's performance was way above PBF's recent peformances since his return.

I voted yes simply because I think Pac will struggle om the 13th like every other fighter who went up against Clottey. Also, I don't see Mosley giving the type of challenge to Floyd that everyone expects from him.

Christ no. Compare what Floyd and Manny have accomplished over the past couple of years. Manny's been wrecking larger fighters, Floyds been winning boring UD's over smaller fighters, and he was inactive for a year and a half. Pac has had more wins, and better wins, over a bigger variety of weight-classes. Floyd has been to inactive and he hasn't had any impressive victories of late. The only way Floyd can overtake Manny is if he wins clearly and Manny loses clearly.

he's only fought ONE smaller fighter...

not to mention when Floyd moved up...he fought everyone at their own Weight...none of the catch weight stuff plus better versions of Hatton ad ODLH so i mean Pac has done some impressive stuff but Floyd had already done what he has done...he just didnt start at the weight Pac did to accumulate 7 tittles....plus they had a chance to go head to head but im not going to get into that fiasco.

While I think Shane can match up with Floyd pretty well. Manny is fighting a prime large welterweight. Pac went out and got his oppenet while shane fell in his lap! It all depends on how they beat their oppents

I didn't say Manny is fighting an easy fight. I simply said that Floyd's upcoming fight is the harder of the two. I don't think there's any question that Mosley is a better fighter than Clottey. How they came to their respective opponents is pretty irrelevant. Pac's fought better opponents for a little while now, but this time Floyd is.

The only time in a fairly long period that Floyd steps up his comp, people are falling over themselves to give him back something he shouldn't even have been given in the first place?

And it shouldn't erase Pacquiao's better comp, no way.
Besides, and this is as important no matter how others may spin it, Pacquiao totally handled the guy who has a W over Shane. And Shane is now a "step up" fight for Floyd, the fight that some people are looking at to reinstall him as number one. Imagine that.

You're a moron if you think Floyd NEVER deserved to be P4P #1.

Wow, that's clear and shatterproof logic. I should be on the defensive now.

Okay then, can you tell me exactly when he was "crowned" number one? Next, list down his opponents around that time.

This should be good, let's see who the moron is. Don't forget to thank me when you have your moment of epiphany, alright? :yep

July 2005, after winning his 4th title in as many weightclasses. He supplanted Hopkins, who lost to Jermain Taylor that same month. He was number 2 under Hopkins for a while before that.

You meant third title in as many, right?

And this effort was against Arturo Gatti (+)...

Oh, you meant the first Hopkins-Taylor, the same Taylor who shared a common adviser with Floyd in Al Haymon, who has god-knows-what clout in HBO? Wasn't this fight so controversial it was widely considered a "decision" to promote the young Taylor in lieu of the old lion Hopkins?

So there you have it, Floyd gets crowned P4P with his scintillating victory against the weakest jr welterweight titlist, supplanting Hopkins who was robbed in his last fight. After that it gets even better:

    Mitchell at 147 (ouch)
Judah (after a loss, still a good win)
    Baldomir (linear my ass)
    Dela Hoya
    Hatton (at 147)
    Marquez (at 147 again!)

Is this the stuff of a P4P king?

If it fulfills your criteria of such, I have no more to discuss with you.

Oh, and next time before you even say the word moron make sure it wouldn't refer to your sorry little ass.

Pac is superior to Void any day.

Pac beat Cotto, Void ran from him.
