That's ridiculous. There's no doubt the KO affected Hatton. Also wasn't Hatton's training camp for Pac disastrous??? Using orthodox pads, trainer being late, not ad******g to something Roach said they would work on Hatton for months (the left counter). Hatton had the trainer he always had for Floyd and was much better prepared. And even a decision victory can be more technically impressive than a 1 or 2 round KO especially if the fighter gets caught cold early.

 

I dont think so. I think we will the most explosive Pacquaio performence yet on Saturday.

 

Its better cause Pac completely destroyed Oscar and stopped Oscar while Floyd got an SD. Its better cause Pac was moving up 12 pounds while while Oscar was only moving down 3.

I didn't say Oscar at 147 was better than Oscar at 154. But Pac's win over Oscar is better than Floyd's win over Oscar, no doubt.

Its not like Oscar was a P4P fighter when he fought Floyd either, so lets not make him out to be one.

 

I could understand that if Pac has been taking stiff's lately, as in your example with RJJ when he lost that spot, but Pac has been fighting top notch comp recently. It just so happen's that in their latest fights, Floyd's opponent is slightly better than Pac's. I dont think you can erase 2 yrs worth of inactivity and knock the current one off this throne based off 1 better win.

 

But Manny won't be solid against Clottey. He'll be spectacular. So the issue won't come up. Manny stays as #1 til Floyd has the balls to try and take his crown from him in the ring.

 

They really just need to fight. If manny doesn't take the blood test (after he just took one 20 days in for clottey) and fights then he can't be #1.. imo.

 

If Pac wins by UD and Mayweather KO's or shuts out Mosley then most will have Mayweather back at the number 1 P4P spot.

Pac KO's Clottey and looks good doing it then he remains number 1 no matter what happens in the May/Mosley fight.

And, please, Hatton and DLH were done when Pac fought them, please stop with the comparisons. May 2007 DLH @ 154 > December 2008 @ 147. Undefeated Hatton in 2007 @ 147 > Hatton in 2009 @ 140. Hatton puts on so much weight in between fights that 140 can't be considered his "best weight" anymore. He was done and looked like a skeleton.

Stop being Pac fans and become boxing fans for a minute and look at things without Pac's nuts in your mouth.

He was a bigger dog for the DLH fight but in reality, DLH and I would have been a better fight that night. Plus, Mayweather is never an underdog when he fights. He is the fav against Mosley, Was the fav against DLH, was going to be the fav for Pacquiao, etc.

Do you not understand that any elite boxer cannot gain and lose 40 pounds between every fight? Hatton normally weighs 150 on fight night and fighting at 147 doesn't force him to drop weight so drastically. It caught up to him + getting KTFO by Mayweather 2 years earlier = boxer with serious problems against #1 P4P Pacquiao.

For ****s sake, how can you people be so delusional? Hatton was coming off of a dominant win over one of the top 140 pounders, he was still very good. Getting KO'd once does not ruin a fighters chin permanently. Hatton looked as good as he ever did against Mallinaggi. And anyway, Pacquiao was so much more dominant over Hatton than Mayweather there's no way you can argue Mayweathers win was better. Just watch the two fights back to back.
