Sorry bud, but JMM is a variation on a theme of fighter. He looke completely helpless against a pure boxer. Again, I don't want to start a "war" in here. Why did he face Morales and not the winner Zahir Raheem? Why did he face Cotto and not the man who beat the man who destroyed the man in Mosely?

I think the reality is that Manny is a benefactor of outstanding matchmaking that makes his fans tend to overlook in there adoration of "action packed" fights.

Pass the USADA drug test and fight a guy NOT under the same promotional banner in a state with a decent commission then talk about what men can and can't do.

Oh dear. A dreadful post. I think I'm wasting my time here.

Anyone who didn't know that was a pointless size mismatch between a guy who had only had 2 fights at lightweight jumping 2 weight divisions, and a welterweight needs help. There was no value or meaning to that fight whatsoever.

    Seriously?

Cotto UD12 Mosley. I cannot understand why this forum seems to have collectively forgotten that. Cotto not only got the decision, he deserved the decision. He has fought Mosley once, and he beat him fair and square.

If anybody is not "really what their made out to be" it's Floyd. Here's a guy who hasn't done anything at welterweight, yet he gets the nod in just about every potential welterweight matchup from his fans.

Floyd is the greatest. Nobody can beat him as long as he dictates the terms of the fight. The fight is won even before the bell rings.

I have to laugh at the OP, who scoffs at people who rank Pacquiao in the top 30 of all time. If you don't rank him there, that would suggest that a better fighter came along on average of every 3-4 years throughout boxing history. Yeah right. Older does not equal better. Pacquiao is a brilliant fighter, and he is one of the greatest of all time. Deal with it.

After Pac's destruction of Cotto. If someone wanted to say he's in the top 5 all time. I have no problem with that.

You can't argue 7 weight classes.

You could argue certain wins here or there but his career is quite great.
