At least this Pacquiao hating OP isn't saying Pacman is a steroid cheat. One thing you said made a lot of sense and Pacquiao's ******ed steroid accusers need to pay attention: But he weighted 105 when he was 16, how can this be??!? But while we're on the subject of supposed top fighters avoiding the top players in his division... the one you really need to look at is Floyd, who is only just now fighting a real top welterweight... And the only reason he's finally fighting SSM is because Floyd thinks he's old. Yeah Pacquiao had Cotto cut to 145 (but Cotto took the fight and made the weight.) At least he fought Cotto at all. Mayweather is guilty of the weight trickery himself, having Marquez come up to 144 but ignoring the contracted weight limit himself. Why should Pacquiao go stag at the hate party when Mayweather needs a date?
We can talk about Cotto, and Hatton being damaged, but then we have to also bring up the steroid allegations against Pac, and how his KO ratio has gone up since moving up in weight. Like how he was able to KTFO Cotto, but not a Larios. How his KO ratio was 65% from 135 and below, but 80% from 140-147. Fighters who move up in weight lose their KO ratio, but Pac has increased...Very suspect.
******, YOU CANT RUN AVOIDING THIS... But there is something very simple that Golden Boy can do to set an example. It involves the Golden Boy himself. Oscar De La Hoya can show the world how a righteous PED-free fighter acts. He didn't knock Cotto out. The fight was stopped when people got tired of seeing Cotto running away from Pac. DLH quit, wasn't knocked out either. Clottey went the 12. That leaves Hatton. Do you really think knocking Hatton out cold the way Hatton throws himself chin-first into a fight is a reason to suspect someone of Roids?
No, not really. Anyone who's been here longer than most *******s knows that I was very critical about Margarito when he was trying to get a fight with DLH. Infact, I've picked Mayorga to beat Margarito in mythical matches even 5 years ago. But I have every reason to doubt the CSAC and how they handled their investigation. On another note, do you not find Pac's KO ratio increase the bit least suspect??? he can KO Cotto, but not Larios??? :think
The Larios fight, I saw live on TV. He was trying to be cute that fight, for the hometown crowd. Trying to act all slick and stylish boxer-like Did not suit him at all. The BS stopped when he got buzzed by a looping Larios punch. He then tried to fight more seriously. He was still trying to have more movement and combination punching to break Larios down. He never threw really heavy, one punch bombs specifically to KTFO Larios. I think the fight was used as a tune up for his next fight, against a higher level opponent with similar characteristics as Larios, only better.
because in his first 13-14 fights he was just a child fighting fully grown men. If you look at Pac's KO record from his 14th fight up to his rematch against Marquez, its 80%. Also, its harder for a super bantamweight to move up to feather weight and superfeather and knock out Barrera, Marquez, and Morales than to move up in weight and knock out Diaz, Hatton, and Cotto.
For crushing your bedtime heroes to pieces and many more. He didn't need over 93 cabdrivers and controversial gifts to look pretty on paper either.
Pac avoids elite slick fighters and for good reason. The first time he faces one it will be his ass.:deal
A KO is a KO. That means that someone is ****ing you up. Why couldn't he **** almsot 40% of his opponents from 135 and below the way he's ****ed up 80% of his opponents at the higher weights??? :think When fighters move up, theor KO% goes down.
because in his first 13-14 fights he was just a child fighting fully grown men. If you look at Pac's KO record from his 14th fight up to his rematch against Marquez, its 80%. Not to mention he fought Morales three times (ATG chin), Marquez twice (who just went the distance with a WW), Barrera twice. Remove those 3 guys from the equation and Pac's KO percentage from his 14th fight to his move up to LW is well above 80% Alot of people don't know that every one of Pac's wins at 122 came by way of KO. And that there isn't a fighter who went the full distance with Pacquiao who hasn't been knocked down by him.
The thread starter is Just some Mexican teenAger who doesn't know anything about boxing , why bother taking him seriously ? The guy is convinced Margarito is innocent
If that's true, it's quite interesting how he's maintained it even as he has moved up to 147. While everyone has a decrease, his stays the same according to your #s. :think
