I have heard this nonsense a lot recently. Now, of course, Lil' Floyd is going to box the socks off Manny Pacquiao, however, Manny would KILL Joan Guzman.

Like I said, remove those first 12 wins. His KO win % under 135 would be 85%. The fact that he had better opposition in the lower weight classes makes it even more pointless to compare his 46 wins belowe 135 to his KO win % above 130, which is a sample size. That's 5 wins compared to 46, and that's not even including the 3 losses and 2 draws.

scar, i am just wondering why ulitard is avoiding this about his bf oscaroid?

Oscar De La Hoya can show the world how a righteous PED-free fighter acts. In order to fully inform the public on the issues involved (and remove any hint of suspicion that he himself might not have clean hands)

. The same waiver should authorize all present and past NSAC personnel and any other person with knowledge of the situation to discuss the test results with any media representative who inquires about them.

’m talking about the possibility of something more.

Let me even suggest wording for the waiver that Oscar can make public and send to the Nevada State Athletic Commission:

“I, Oscar De La Hoya, hereby waive all right of confidentiality with regard to the past testing of my blood and urine for steroids and other performance enhancing drugs conducted by or on behalf of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. In that regard, I also authorize all present and past Nevada State Athletic Commission personnel and any other person with knowledge of the situation to speak openly with the media about such testing.”

To paraphrase: “C’mon, Oscar. If you have nothing to hide, then do it. It’s only a piece a paper. Just sign the waiver.”

Wait, so which one is it?

ODLH, Hatton, and Cotto were made to be KO'd by Pac, so that would discredit him for his wins because he was EXPECTED to KO them?

    or...

Pac had a lower KO % below 135, so it's suspect that Pac cheated.

You can only have one way to hate. You can't have both. That would be what you call -- double standard.

currently hes the p4p 1 fighter. hes definitely an atg at this point but you have alot of nuthuggers who like to say thats hes top 10 p4p all-time, yet he hasnt even fought his great counter part in mayweather. for you to be considered top 10 or top 20 p4p all-time , you have to earn it.

Yes, they all did yet all of them, yourself included, picked DLH to crush Pacquiao in three rounds at most in a brutal circus of a fight which is based on money and only money. Wasn't Pacquiao a HUGE underdog going in?, didn't you also think it's a joke for Pacquiao to think money first and only money for taking this fight expecting him, like everyone else, to lose?[/quote]

No. We knew he was past his prime. But we had NO idea how shot he was, and furthermore, how weight drained he would be. To the point of using IV to rehydrate!! But Roach, oh, he knew well that DLH was done as a fighter, he even said so himself.

Roach said Oscar didn't have it anymore. He said he wouldn't be able to pull the trigger. Roach only matches Pac with fighters he knows Pac can win. That is why they said they wouldn't put him against Foreman. Now even if Foreman wins, but he looks less than stellar doing it against Cotto, trust me, they will match Pac up with him.

If Pac came in with a broken leg to fight JMM, I would not give JMM any credit. How can I give a fighter credit when his opponent has a handicap?

Why?? What makes you think I'm a big Jr. Fan??

    Whats your point again????

You FAILED to refute any of the points I made. You can't.

well take into account that he fought Morales three times (ATG chin), Marquez twice (never been stopped from Featherweight to Welterweight), Barrera twice. Remove those 3 guys from the equation and Pac's KO percentage from his 14th fight to his move up to LW is well above 80%

Alot of people don't know that every one of Pac's wins at 122 came by way of KO. And that in the last 10 years there isn't a fighter who went the full distance with Pacquiao who hasn't been knocked down by him.

So its not suspect that he is still getting alot of knockouts. I mean he is so much better p4p than these others guys he's facing (Hatton, Diaz, Oscar, Cotto). In four fights that were scheduled to go 12 rounds each, he's only lost 1 round in total. Like I said his technical game and defense are very underrated.
