    So Floyd's not a hero/icon of boxing.

Go the Philippines during the 2000's. You'll see what an icon looks like.

Icons don't make excuses, only losers do.

yes and No. Yes he is already an icon no question about it and no because There are lots of promising boxers that could follow his path.
Like roman, ggg, inoue, crawford, canelo, spence etc who can be great.

I never said he was an icon.

I only said if i wanted to pick one logically, 100% personal opinion, it would be the money team. Go back and read.

I give 2 ****s about the phillipines. Honestly. I watch boxing

    Ali. Leonard. Duran. Pacquiao.

What is an icon specifically? I'll illustrate. Go to the Philippines after Pacquiao defeated Barrera and went on his run through the great Mexicans.

Pacquiao is a viable presidential candidate. Actually, if he runs he will win the seat.

How could you leave out Oscar in that first sentence? Oscar was 10x more boxing's hero than almost all of those you mentioned and gave pac and mayweather the escalated fame they do have now.

You're right Oscar was an icon, but had a complicated relationship with the Mexican, Mexican-American and American communities.

The casuals on this forum are a comedy gold. Pac is a hero for doing what? Boxing? Not filling out a questionnaire. What act of heroism has he done? Did he conquer the evil Mayweather with God on his side? :rofl:rofl:rofl

You're 15 years old. That doesn't lend itself to credibility.
