Is Pacquiao The Only Fighter Who Could Have Beat ODLH That Convincingly On Dec 6th?

Malignaggi?! Sober up sir. Even a weight-drained Oscar takes him to school, just like he did to Forbes at an almighty 3lbs north last year.

Oscar would've beaten guys like Cintron, Holt and Diaz as well. He was weight-drained and so couldn't cope with someone as fast as Pacquiao, Pac is as fast as any featherweight, and a past-prime weight-drained Oscar couldn't cope at all. Wait till Oscar fights again, he'll prove he is not completely shot yet. Speed killed him, that's all.

And I think the ones with proven power at 147 would have knocked him on his ass a lot sooner.

With Freddy Roach noticing PRE-Fight that Oscar was only good for 3-4 rounds I'm going to go with him and that 3-4 round prediction would have been for any fighter. No offence nut I'll take Roach saying he's good for 3-4 rounds over you saying he'll box a full 12 DINA:good

ko him maybe but not the type of performance pac showed. you are realy undermining pac as a fighter if you think any tom dick and harry can do what he does. he aint p4pno1 for no reason.

Bull, my 'He had to turn up' comment was a joke, I've said in many posts Manny's performance was great. But to say he's the only guy that could have beaten Oscar that night is wrong. To say he's the only guy that could have beaten Oscar in that manner is also way off, I'm sure anyone can think of at least 6 who could have destroyed THAT ODLH.

the prob of this thread is that it's based on pure conjecture and hindsight. the fact is that pac was the only one who ACTUALLY did this to dlh. anybody can easily mention a lot of names here but none of us will be completely certain that these guys could've ACTUALLY done the same thing pac did to dlh.

I make my own decisions and don't take as Gospel the opinion/spin of anyone else BOXINGFANNO1 :good

3-4 rounds of hyperspeed peak Pacquiao is slightly different from 3-4 rounds of the featherfisted pedestrian version of Malignaggi that fought Hatton.

Even you should be able to work that out!

Malignaggi is NOT one of them though (did you see Malignaggi v Hatton??. Neither is Kendall Holt (did you see Holt v Hopkins??).

    Fail.

I would pick any single fighter from that list to do the same job that Pac did on Oscar that night.

It was one of the worst performances I've seen since I've been watching boxing from a top fighter (shot or not).

Opposition counts. Pac was on fire. That Oscar would still have beaten someone as rotten as Malignaggi (v Hatton version) or Holt (v Hopkins version). Oscar was past-prime and weight-drained, but he still knows how to box. He would have been able to box at his own pace vs guys as mediocre as Paulie and Holt. He would've cruised to decisions over them just like he did over Forbes.
