you telling me pac had nothing to do with it. he made all these fighters look shot overrated, barrera, ledwaba, morales, larios, diaz. didn't he dominate those fighters and make them look bad. why do you think anyone can do what he does, no one can.

Ok 'defender of everything that is Pac' first off I'm not having a go at Pac, this is purely about the condition of Oscar. Roach's comment wether you like it or not were 'Keep it tight, he's only got 3-4 rounds in him' thats right, 'Keep it tight' again, 'Keep it tight' I.e He knew Pac didn't need to go all out, he knew Oscar was in bad shape, Oscar was ****ed. Something wrong with you *******s that you fail to acknowledge this? He had NOTHING, when the guys own trainer pics up on it then that tells me something but no, not good enough for you guys is it? Seriously. You take everything as a personal attack on Pac, yes I said Paulie, being feather fisted has nothing to do with this, Oscar had 4 rounds in him, Paulie UD. I Re-watched the fight last week. Roach is right, for 3-4 rounds Oscar still had a little something there, then nothing, empty tank.

    i must digress..

i think one does a great dis-service to hatton and his victory over paula,

no excuses the better fighter clearly won that fight,it was a solid win for hatton against a top fighter in his prime regardless!

if malinaggi was mediocre then it was due to hattons effectiveness in the fight, just saying.

    :good

prob w/ pac is that when he wins, he completely dominates his opponents (except jmm) so that his opponents look shot after. maybe it would've been better if pac had some difficulty beating them kinda like how jmm did vs. casa, diaz and barrera so he will get more credit for his wins. or maybe if pac did had difficulty in winning his fights, ppl here will then say that he isn't that good after all. for pac, it's damn if you do and damn if you don't. :-(

He did indeed beat a prime Barrera, but he lost to a prime Morales.

I'll say it again, a lot of top fighters would have worked Oscar over that night, hell Stevie ****ing Forbes nearly did it 3-4 months earlier. It was one of if not THE WORST performance I've seen from a top fighter.

all those fighters you say that can do it, but pac is the only one to do it. people need to be consistent. you cant say its a circus, mismatch manny is gonna get a beating, then oh its overrated anyone can do it. people better make their excuses now before the hatton fight.

this thread isnt to take away from pacman... pacman did what he had to do

    but

if others were in his shoes they would have done the same thing... and quicker

    cotto
    berto
    paul williams
    margarito
would have definitely disposed of oscar in less time

they would have definitely without a doubt done it

i can tell from the responses that some people aren't really voting in reply to the thread topic.

A select few fighters would have had a chance at knocking him out earlier than Pac did, but no other fighter could have won every round AND made him quit the way Pac did.

could've...would've... this is all pure conjecture borne out of hindsight. the fact is that pac is the ONLY ONE who ACTUALLY did this to dlh. nothing will change that even an enumeration of names here.

    Besides any legit WW.

I don't see anyone doing it convincingly

Some of you bitches like to exaggerate DLH's weight drainage. Yes he was ****in' pathetic, but only due to the fact that DLH couldn't find his target.

Had DLH landed some shots, he would've put forth a greater effort to chase his man down.

Had anyone else fought him that night that doesnt have Pac's speed or at least equal in size then they would've found themselves eating left hooks and right uppercuts.

We can't really guage DLH's power because he never landed any telling blows on Pac at all...so we really don't know whether the weight drainage made him a complete *****...or just a slow *****. Either way he fought like a ****in' ******...even the ***gots said he fought like a ******. :-(
