Pac vs DLH!!! Boxing needs it!!!

    pacterons:

"I hope the fight happens, and after it does I hope the police troll this site for all the people that wanted Pac to take the fight so they can charge them with accessories to murder cuz Oscar would kill pac"

    hudson

"This fight is pointless. Pacquiao would be starched by somebody as big as Del La Hoya, who has been knocking out welterweights his entire career. "Boxing doesn't need this, Boxing needs Cotto vs Margarito and we've got it." :D

    selfkill

"Do you really want to see your chosen deity get his head kicked in right before your eyes, because that is what would happen, even if DLH is trundling down the other side of the career hill." :D

    d-mac

"de la hoya would cause permanent damage on pacquiao if they fought ":yep

    danny ocean

"I hope DLH-Pac happens so I can bet the bank on Hoya. HBO's 24/7 will make it look 50/50 when really it's about 90/10":yep

    jjax

ahhh.... look how time flies so fast and people are getting alzheimers

come on man, you're in denial. Anyone could have beaten paralyzed oscar that night. His feet were cemented in the ground like he was afflicted with arthritis. Even the 106 lbs version of easily beat him by a wide UD.

Nope, not in denial. I'm just not blind to see that what Pac did to win couldn't be done by just anyone. Don't worry, I am aware you are joking around.

Oh really? I've posted this before, everything Roach said:

"Oscar shows up, he could barely get around the track. Seemed like he was struggling to make weight, his face was drawn, looked white as a ghost, it just made my confidence that much more"

Question: "Freddie how did you feel when they weighed in at 145?"
Answer: "I was thrilled, Oscar over did it. He tried to prove he could come in lighter than us cause he thought we were going to come in at 147. Lets face it, fighters are weighed 5 minutes before they get on the scale then they're off weight and re-hydrate 5 minutes after. That concept of saying being at weight for a month so you're used to being at that weight, thats bull****. Fighters make weight the last day and re-hydrate and go back up in weight. All this deer meat, antelope meat, proteins and no carbohydrates, his nutritionist done a terrible job."

"But then I saw the i.v in his arm, I saw the i.v marks, fresh tape, it's a fresh iv, I can tell the cut. They re-hydrated him too late, they waited too long to hydrate him I feel. Its not illegal of course but the thing is he couldn't get nothing in his system and then he was dehydrated after the fight, I got a report from the doctors, it was dehydration because they didn't hydrate him enough, nobody let him build his body back up, they did it to themselves"

Question: "Freddie when did you feel in the course of that fight you were going to fully control this bout?"

Answer: "Before the fight started. When he gained 2lbs between weigh in and fight time I said, Manny he's going to be good for 3 rounds keep your hands up, don't go crazy, take your time, break him down slowly, we got him."

And I'm the fanboy am I.... Lets see, I rate Pac P4P no1 and have no bias about the guy one way or another. You on the other hand have him as your 3rd all time greatest boxer, I wonder who's actually more level headed here.......

And people think the guy Roach describes could have competed against ANY fighter. I'm going to say no.....

I still think De La Hoya has a career at 154 but any top 10 and mabey even top 15 147er beats him.

Is it difficult to understand that if DLH`s condition was at least
when he fought against Mayweather, he had most likely KO Pac ?

I feel the same way, but unfortunately DLH wasn't the same. Anyways, Pac made him quit.
