Team Hatton has made it very clear they will break the fight if Pacquiao holds this line - hasn't stopped Manny. Does he want this fight or what? What's going on with the little guy?

imo, pac just feels that he is the legitimate draw in this fight. they could work a 55-45 deal if both sides still doesn't budge.

    Nopes . . . just negotiating.

When you say "pricing himself out" . . . means you're asking for a price beyond what is reachable.

  4. Well Roach seemed pretty embarrsed by it all in the latest radio interview

What's the basis for that though?

Also, Ray Hatton has sounded very firm. 50-50 or nothing. I'm not even sure he would agree to 55-45. Could happen, but for the most part I don't see it. Ray said this was an insult to his country. Bad sign.

Team Hatton has been saying 50-50 or nothing.

Pacquiao is daring them to go elsewhere by insisting on his demands.

This is doing my ****in head in..... WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH 50/50 ?

Am I missing something here ?
Is this guy not a millionaire ?
    :huh

Why does he have to try play the fame card or whatever you want to call this BS by making Hatton take less, both guys are huge draws, so what if Pac is the `superstar`... he should stop acting like an arrogant little ***** & get the fight signed... 50/50 or 60/40 with the winner getting 60% but no way he should get 60 just for being Manny Pacquiao... earn it or take 50.

Totally agreed - if I'm not mistaken Ray said that Team Hatton started at a figure of 60-40 on their end, but gave in when it seemed it would compromise the fight. It's almost ridiculous that Pacquiao jumped on the 60-40 thing after Team Hatton. That's how you say "**** you" in business terms.. Directly.

actually it's not my opinion. it's really pac's opinion, check the video on this thread: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=117305

well pac doesn't want a 55-45 either coz he wants a 60-40. they could just work it out for a 55-45 imo.

I think Pacs just trying it on to try and get more cash. The fight will go ahead at 50/50 or somewhere close to that.

Not at all. Hatton took a lower paycheck than PBF and with Hatton no longer undefeated, his stock has dropped some more so I dont see any reason why his fight with pac should be any different. Pac is in the same situation as PBF, he's got legends in his resume, coming off a great win against DLH and a huge PPV star.

The fight will happen, im pretty sure of it.

You know--it's bull**** like this that makes me less and less of a boxing fan.

These guys already get huge amounts of cash and most of the big name guys fight on average 2-3 times a year. What bull****.

Here's a thought, how about BOTH guys take 50/50 or a 60/40 split for the winner AND only charge 10-15 bucks for the PPV. Do either one of these guys really need 15-20 million dollars for one freaking fight?

There are people losing their homes, people losing their jobs, life savings, healthcare, and kids college funds and Pac is standing firm on a 60/40 split---real hard for me to feel sorry for the guy.
