He's not fighting bums though. And the light punchers that he faces run for their lives. I guess we'll see exactly how strong he is on May 2nd right? In case it's keeping you up late at night... it won't matter the month after.

Depends what we are rating of. Pacman had serious power six years ago. Today his power is 60-80% of what it used to be. He has still good power but nothing special.

Unless im wrong, isn't pac naturally not a big guy, in the sense that he has to consume large amount of calories/protein to gain the muscle mass to come in at 143-145 for Welterweight fights?

Basically, besides cotto coming in lighter and Mayweather who is a gym rat, he has been fighting guys that walk around at 170lb+ that drop weight to fight at 147 before bloating back up to 160lb+. I am by nowhere a pac fan but I see all these men respecting his power.

At the same time (and maybe because of his lack of speed/precision) he doesn't seem to have a one punch KO on him anymore, plus he's hitting guys that naturally walk around at higher weights. My cousin hits hard as hell but the fact that he is 130 and im 180 gives me a better shot at taking that punch than anyone his size.

Yes, people for some reason think he has KO power at 140+.
His power comes from his speed and snap and stops/hurts his opponents usually by an accumulation of damage i.e. DLH, Marg, Rios, Cotto, Diaz.

His only one one punch KO was Hatton, and that's because Hatton tends to block punches with his face.

Somebody with power. Look at what he did at 122-126. He was the lineal champion there. he knocked out all comers and usually fast.

He has never knocked out somebody at the 147 limit in 6 years.

You say Algieri ran. At the lower weights I'd give a fighter the caliber of Algieri 6 rounds tops before he gets stopped. Most likely though within 3 rounds.

Whether you like it or not there hasn't been a knockout at 147. That's not an excuse. That's a fact.
