A Former Flyweight moves up to 147 beats De La Hoya - a guy who has fought at MW - then Cotto - who had a strong case to be the #1 WW at the time. Wipes the linear, legit LWW champ out inside of two rounds. Beats Marquez, as well as about half a dozen other world title holders.

So yes. Pacquaio's resume is absolutely top notch, and every bit as good as it sounds.

Barrera was one of the top fighters in the world. The odds against Manny were 4 t0 1 against Barrera.

hatton was over rated! cotto obviously wasnt the same fighter we all knew him to be...clottey we have yet to see...MAB was just not the same person...pac has yet to fight anybody he didint have an advantage over

you stopped reading probably cause reading gives you a headache. Barrera finished his trilogy with Morales AFTER Pacquao destroyed him.

Just another example of a Pac hater who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Pac knocked out Sasakul the lineal champ at 112 who although he was unknown, he was a damn good fighter who beat the man who beat the man.

Pac then moved up 3 division in one shot (112 to 122) and wrecked havoc like no other, knocking out every one of his opponents except Sanchez cause that was a draw due to a headbutt. When Pac fought for the IBF title against a boxer in Ledwaba he won every round and knocked him out in the 6th even though he was a replacement with only 2 weeks notice.

Eventually Pac moved up in weight again and in his first fight at 126 he fought a bigger, 29 year old, prime ATG Barrera, who was in the best win streak of his career. Pac completely destroyed him from start to finish. Barrera was very succesful even after that loss.

Right after that in only his second fight at 126 he fought a prime Marquez, probably the most avoided fighter at that time. He knocked him down 3 times in 1 round and then went on to give JMM a hell of a fight over the next 11 (don't believe the hype of people who think Marquez was handling Pacquiao esaily, its not true). The fight was a draw but one of the judges admitted that he made a mistake in his score and that Pac should have won.

After one last stay busy fight at 126, he moved up in weight AGAIN and in his first fight at 130 he fights a bigger, prime, 29 year old champion, ATG Erik Morales. He gets cut from a headbutt right above the eye early in the fight and fights most of the fight with blood flowing from the cut. He lost the fight 115-113 so it was a clear loss but still a really close fight.

After a tuneup Pac fights Morales at 130 again and knocks him out in the 10th round. Pac is the only fighter to ever knock out or even knock out Morales.

Then he fights Oscar Larios who was moving up in weight and he takes him to school over 12 rounds, shutting him out and even making him hit the deck twice.

Then he fights a rubbermatch with Morales and closes the book on that rivalry, completely destroying Morales in 3 rounds.

Then he beats Barrera easily at 130 in a rematch just a few months after Barrera gave JMM a tought fight and even knocked him down.

Then he rematches JMM and decides to box with a master boxer who looked like he was in even better shape than the first time and had like a 14 week training camp. Pac wins a close fight and JMM goes on to knock out two of the three best lightweights in the world before challenging Floyd all the way up at 147 and lasting the distance.

After Pac beats JMM he moves up in weight AGAIN to challenge a weak title holder David Diaz in his first fight at that weight. David Diaz was not a good champion but he did knock out Jose Armando Santa Cruz who beat Casamayor and also Diaz was good enough to beat a faded Morales. Pacquiao won every second of every round against Diaz sometimes throwing 4-5 right hands in a row and brutal knockout in the 9th.

Then Pac after only 1 fight at 135 moves up another 2 divisions to fight Oscar at 147 who had to move down from 150 after shutting out Steve Forbes at a catchweight. Pac is a major underdog in this fight because he is basically moving up from 130 to 135 to 147 in 9 months while Oscar was at 154 then 150 then 147 in 1 year. Pacquiao again wins every second of every round and makes the bigger Oscar quit.

Then Pac doesn't even take a tuneup fight after Oscar, he moves back down to 140 to fight the lineal champion who is coming off the 2nd lbest win of his career, a domination and knockout of Paulie Malignaggi at 140. Pacquiao eats Hatton for breakfast taking him to school from the opening bell and then scoring the KO of the decade in the second round.

Then Pac once again doesn't even take a tuneup he moves back up in weight again to fight the #2 WW in the World at a catchweight of 145. Cotto in his last fight weighed in at 146 while Pacquiao in his last fight weighed in at 138. Pac has a hard time figuring Cotto out in the first round but then in the 2nd round he is already outboxing Cotto and dominating him. In the third and 4th round he knocks Cotto down despite letting Cotto hit him with his best shots and after that he dominates the rest of the fight.

That right there is not only an amazing resume but basically shits on any other resume of any other active fighter.

Jump out the window please. If you can't see that Pacman has been the underdog in almost ALL of his major fights and silenced everyone then you are ******ed. If these guys were all "wheel-chair shot" why were they favored over him going in the fight?

Some idiots. Mayweather trash talking is normal, VERY normal, Pacman is a future opponent so of course they will downgrade each other to promote a future fight. In reality you will spot Mayweather in the croud cheering in a lot of Pacquiao's fights and he had nothing but respect and good words when asked about Manny back then. Now it's the opposite because both are future targets and this is a business like it's a sport.
