Is Pac's punching power increasing or does Hatton have a glass jaw?

    Or is the answer both?

I mean, David Diaz took a worse beating over a longer period of time and that's back when Pac actually had to cut weight. I remember people saying Pac's power peaked at 126 and even at 130 it was only his speed that was giving everyone problems as he continued moving up.

I know that KO punch was perfect, right on the chin and he never saw it coming, but Ricky was wobbled after 3 or 4 right hooks in the first round and in the Diaz fight, Pac was leading with that punch and must've landed it a billion times.

If not for that punch, how much longer do you think Hatton would've lasted if Pac just kept landing volumes of punches like how he usually stops people?

I don't think Ricky has a glass jaw. I suppose Pac's power has to be increasing as he moves up, I think the biggest part of Hatton's downfall was that with Pac's style and his speed that Ricky couldn't even see the punches coming.

Neither, Pac was hitting Hatton with PERFECT shots that he didnt see coming, add to the fact ricky was running into those shots.

Hatton has been around because the refs in UK let him arm bar everyone that can punch , yet tonight he wasnt allowed to and had to try and use his fists, and look how that ended up, Tszyu would of put him in a Coma if it was the same ref as tonight.

    Becoz in my observation.

Pac didn't went all out in both Diaz and Hoya. He boxed them both.

Roach knowing Pac can outbox bigger guys, he tried to make Pac all out this time. And the beast has been unleashed again.

I think his power has went up. Has nobody noticed the mans MASSIVE legs?! Most of your punching power comes from your legs/ hips. He built his legs up to gain weight, and kept his upper body more slender to keep his speed. You can visually see it, and understand why he's so powerful. Quite amazing...

Perfect punch landed straight on the bottom. No glass jaw.

The left hook is a very dangerous punch. Hatton was not well prepared to block such punches. To take such punches without defense is not possible.

Great win for Pac. He is No. 1!

^ Pac does have massive legs. I think Pacs optimum power is at 140. The power and Speed combo is what sets him apart. I mean hes got power in both hands now

I don't think it's that Manny's power is increasing, but that his hand speed is magnified at the higher weights. He is so fast and accurate and works such good angles that you don't see the shots and they hurt you. Manny has good power at 140-147, but when you combine that power with the accuracy and speed of the punches and it creates a lethal combination.
