Is Pac's punching power increasing or does Hatton have a glass jaw?

The handspeed difference made this happen. Look at Hearns/Duran. Same kind of fight. No insult on Hatton or Duran. The faster handed fighter can get punches off and land.

Pac took Ricky's strength away from him. He basically hooked with him and kept catching ricky in mid punch. If you don't see it and you get caught in on position to defend it you get KOed thats just how it works. Add to that that Pac's got power like I've never seen before and its bad news for Ricky.

I actually do think that Ricky looked weaker at the wight then before though. Not that it made much of a difference.

After Hattons being destroyed by Mayweather he showed a Glass chin against Lazcano and Pacquiao...
But anyway i also think Pacmans power its on his powerful limit

His power is at par with welterwt fighters long before he moved up in weight. Roach has said that all along since he was still at featherwt. Perfect punch to the jaw

I always thought Hatton's chin was about average, and nothing that happened tonight changed my mind about that. Hatton simply has a crap defense and he gets hit way too cleanly, particularly on the way in.

Now what Manny showed tonight is that he has super human ability to increase his power as he moves up through the weight divisions. I don't think I've ever seen someone carry up power like that before. It defies logic.

A guy that was badly hurt by by feather fisted Collaso and Floyd, and hurt by a old lightweight in Lazcano, mean that Hattons chin is not sturdy. He was hurt to by Urango but Urango hit very hard and was a body punch.

Boxing is more complicated than that. Hatton never had an iron jaw but he took some shots throuhout his career especially from Kostya Tszyu who is a heavy puncher.

In this particular fight it was the punches in the first round that hurt him and he was a wounded fighter in there who couldnt see the punches coming and was getting hurt even by light punches. When the heavy one came, it was lights out.

I'm not questioning the KO. That would've knocked anybody out.

I'm talking about prior to it. Hatton was getting decked from the opening bell with that right hook. It started with his face getting marked up so quickly and then wobbled and finally the first KD.

Pac was marking up Diaz's face so that he was unrecognizable until that KO. Hatton is a legit JWW, so there's no reason to believe Pac's power is increasing unless Hatton is glass jawed.

How many fights has Hatton has, and how many has he been knocked out in?

I seem to remember that Hatton had never been even knocked down, prior to the PBF fight. And that's saying something for a straight-ahead fighter with no defense to speak off. So you can pretty much rule out 'glass whatever'.

Pacquiao's power, speed ability have been improving. Roach and his strength coach warned us that we would be shocked because he is stronger than he was before.

True. Pacquiao never loaded up against DLH either but still I just think this freak has powered up like dragon ball z
