I think Donovan is a top 5 welterweight and would beat prime Taylor h2h

    He's clearly better than Crocker.

Donovan has all the pieces to be better than Taylor, he has speed, power, punch selection and the right kind of attitude, plus he is a southpaw.

Remains to be seen if that will be the case though.

Taylor cleaned up the entire division. I do like Donovan, but he's fought nowhere near the same caliber of opposition. People forget how vicious Taylor was because of how badly he fizzled out in his last few fights. Paddy could win more than one world title at 147 because of how thin it is at the moment, but Brian Norman will destroy him if they ever cross paths.

He's nowhere near prime Taylor from what I've seen of him. People have already forgotten just how good Taylor was between 2018 and 2021. He was on a real tear, was p4p top five.

Way too early to tell, but there is definitely some stylistic similarities there. Paddy looks good so far but it's important to keep in mind that Taylor was also a KO machine before he started facing real competition.
