So if Parker wins, who do you favor in the Parker vs Wilder unification?

Parker has to do a Shawn Porter on Joshua to win, just completely overwhelm him and break his rhythm. If Parker doesn't let the atmosphere get to him we're in for a great fight.

The closer this fight gets the more confident i am in a Joshua victory. The more i hear from Camp Parker the more i am confident in a Joshua victory. Sounds like camp Parker have been saving up press releases on the hope it is unsettling Joshua before the fight, mind games, Joshua dont give a **** he is just fully focused on his own preperations and nothing camp Parker says is going to rattle or change Joshuas thinking.

If camp Parker were that confident they would train quietly and show up and do their thing, they wouldnt be bringing out all these pre planned little nuggets of New Zealand facts to try upset the opposition. It is so weak. As weak as Parkers chin, which we will all be talking about next Sunday morning.

Then you wake up from your sweet dream and see Parker lying on the canvas in round 1.

Whyte would break Parker down and KO him, Joshua will swat him like a fly.

Just like Degale was supposed to be newer and better after his shoulder surgery. Parker won't be any better.

I think Parker is going to give AJ all he can handle. I suppose you can say AJ is the favourite, but if he's even a little off, Parker might just settle his hash.

I certainly don’t dismiss Parker’s chances of winning, he’s a legitimate Champion and comes to fight every time! He’s not without power, skills or stamina and is in his prime why wouldn’t he be confident and with good reason.

Yes it would be an upset if Parker wins but not an Earth shattering shocking one, and those who think Joshua would be devastatingly crestfallen don’t understand the bloke. He’d be shattered and massively disappointed as he or any fighter should be but he’d see it as part of the business he’s in and use it to motivate himself to be better in the rematch. Joshua’s a realist about the fight game, he took on Wlad knowing the risks of losing and was ready for the lesson if it happened, there’s no difference here just a different challenge and new lessons.

Media hype? How can it be hype, he is a legitimate top 3 HW with current active fighters.

People kind of forget that Parker barely, barely scrapped home against Ruiz and that his fight with Fury was also a bit awkward. Sure, Joshua is overrated, but he's better than those two. Styles make fights? Yeah. So do fighters though.

I think Joshua will win a UD or a Takam-style British stoppage after riding out some stormy moments and workrate from Parker. That being said, I don't particularly like Joshua and his manufactured, media-friendly, non-threatening persona, so a large part of me -- the part that operates on emotion -- will be rooting for Parker to do Joshua over.

Just imagine the expression on Fast Car's fresh little face if Parker does pull off the upset.

Agreed, a lot of the media seem to intent on the hyping of Joshua vs Wilder -- and as you say, Joshua is buying into their hype -- thus treating Parker as an afterthought. Treatment like this is only bound to fuel and motivate a proud warrior like Parker.

Joshua vs Parker is anything but the foregone conclusion many media outlets want us to think it is.

Personally, in all these 5 years, I have never seen Parker oozing such CONFIDENCE.

They have been lining AJ up for YEARS....
