So, with his overwhelming defeat of Kolle and possible title fights against possibly WBC JMW champ Verno Phillips, will he emerge in the top 10 P4P list soon? Your thoughts on this.
If he can continue to be unbeaten and take legit fights from WW to SMW he would become no doubt the BEST P4P fighter.. A P4P fighter is considered the best from Minimumweight to Heavyweight... If he could beat some of the best across 4 weight classes he truely is the best.... It just aint guna happen ... Playing yoyo going up and down affects your body and he has proven himself so far at 1 weight only
First he has to fight legit opposition. That Koelle guy was kind of like the David Diaz to Pacquiao. Its only to make him look good. Name a top WW who would have lost to Koelle..... Still waiting Im sure clottey is drooling to get a shot at PW but his team knows they should keep him away and do what they do best. Talk alot of **** while facing unknown/shitty opposition. Its the PW way. When he starts beating top WW or any other weight class then we can make that assumption but for now he is just a young fighter with alot of hype behind him. And stop the PW-PBF threads. Quintana outboxed the **** out of PW what do you think PBF would do. He would probably make PW hit that turnbuckle.
I think there is some terrible double standards here. Saying he needs to step up the opposition at WW. Is Margo not considered the top welter alongside PW. Clottey is the only other contender but he has a loss to Margo and his best win is against the smallest welter I've ever seen. How much did Judah come into that ring. 142-143 as far as i know thats unheard of.
Why cause he knocked out that journeyman fighter? Not even close to it, IMO. keep fighting maybe 10 fight's from now we can speak on it again.
How come Margo fought Cintron again, and why is he fighting Cotto again? Shouldn't he forget about Cotto since he already beat them? Oh yeah, Collazo turned down a fight with Williams for Nov. 29(Collazo is going to fight Berto instead). Mosley turned down a fight with Williams as well. Williams already beat Quintana, so he should forget about him according to you. That leaves Clottey. Williams said he's willing to fight whoever. Clottey has no opponent, he should step up to the plate.
So you're saying he hasn't fought any legit opposition yet? No top Welters have attemtped to fight at MW. It was a stay busy fight. Nobody goes out and fights world beaters in a stay busy fight. Williams is looking for a Nov. opponent. Clottey is not fighting anyone. If he's drooling to get a shot at Williams, how come there has been no attempt from Top Rank to secure that fight? Why isn't Margo drooling to fight Williams, or Cotto for that matter? If Paul is only interested in talking ****, how come his team sent offers to Margo, Judah, and Mosley only to be ignored by all of them? He's also called out Cotto on numerous occasions. How come none of those fighters have showed interest in fighting Paul? So you're saying he's never beat any top WWs? Unfortunately Floyd is retired.
