I think he is but whether or not he's viewed that way by the majority will be based on how well he is promoted in the future.

82 inch reach is special with speed. He will cause many guys problems, but that does not solve a chin. He does not have great power. I suspect he will be like Michael Nunn a little. My gut feeling is that he will do ok with stationary guys, but once a guy roughs him up he is going to get stopped, and he does not have the power to neutralize that. Neither did Michael Nunn.

His chin isn't a problem and he show'd against Margarito that he can respond to getting roughed up.

He is a good fighter. But i dont like how he is so big for his division. Alot of heavy's are 6'2. The fact that he is a welter-middle is sort of bizzare. I wonder how he would do if he was 5'10? Prolly would get ktfo

I think the way he fights currently, he is a KO waiting to happen at 160 and up. I'm sure he will improve, but he better watch how he steps up.

Please the hate for Williams get's worse, your acting as if he is the first tall welterweight. If a guy's 6'2 and in good enough shape to come in at at 147 to 160 than the opponent has to just deal with it. I don't think Williams will ever get the respect he deserves.
