I would like to see PW fight either Mosley or Clottey. Quintana would also be good but I don't think it would be much of a challenge. Cintron looked like crap in his last fight.
Woord!!! *****!! Worst of all Cintron complaining about his right hand at the end and saying he had benn injured since first round.
The williams fight would be very awkward. The cotto fight I think Mayweather wins it via UD. Cotto likes to box at times and PBF will be able to outbox him. If Cotto trys to rough him up and get wild he will just get countered badly. The williams fight will be wierd, I wonder how PBF will try to find his range and distance. Staying on the outside will be hard because he will have to jump in. On the inside it would be wierd as well. I think once PBF gets the distance right (midrange maybe?) he will be able to outbox him and dodge those giant orangutange arms.
Mayweather has beaten good boxers who were extremely tall for their size. Genaro Hernandez, Tony Pep (who was 6'1), Diego Corrales, Phillip Ndou, Oscar Delahoya. And Williams does have a leaky defense so Mayweather can get his shots off, and he has pounded big fighters with leaky defense. (Corrales, Pep, Hernandez)
Disagree. Sorry guys but Williams is too green right now. Could he be the toughest fight in a couple years? Yes. Right now, no I do not think so. Let him get some more fights under his belt, get him on the big stage some more to get him used to it, and then give him a shot. Right now Cotto is the biggest threat imo. He has shown on more than one occasion now that he can deal with pbf's superior speed. Cotto is the fight for Floyd right now, Williams is the fight in a few years
Cotto has already clearly earned the shot at Fraud. Williams should have to beat Cintron or AM in rematch to earm a shot at the Cotto-Fraud winner.
All those guys you mentioned would have butchered Hatton in 6 rounds or less with the exception of Williams maybe who would TKO him late like Floyd did. His style is so open when he falls in that I am still shocked that Tszyu didn't knock him out cold.
Head to head I thikn Cotto beats WIlliams but I do agree that williams has a better chance of beating Floyd
Exactly. Fraud had a pretty much even money choice between Cotto, Shane and Hatton - he chose the obvious weakest opponant for a 147 lb match.
Ever since he beat Mitchell, I have thought that Williams would give Floyd hell. His toughest fight south of Pavlik IMO.
