Is Pav trying to avoid AA?

    As far as I know the fight against AA hasn't been fixed yet.

    question: Could Pav (or Bob Arum) think that a fight against King Arthur would be too risky?

    Personally I don't think Pav is afraid of fighting AA, but I am not sure how Arum thinks about it.

    I really will be disappointed if the fight won't happen early next year. This fight simply has to happen asap.

    The fight will happen sooner or later both guys are young Pavlik is the star right now and he is cashing in on a big fight with legand Hopkins, the man has had some good wins recently and deserved his easy fight the last outting deserves this fight with Hopkins.
    From there I beleive it might be Calzaghe vs Pavlik but I would love to see Abraham get it on with Pavlik, I wouldnt start labling the man as a ducker that isnt the case he has fought all there was to fight on his way up, let the man relish the moment I am 100% positive this fight will happen.

    Don't think so even though I want this fight badly as well, think they're moving Pavlik up for the Hopkins fight then possibly down again whether he wins or loses for the AA fight. AA needs to fight his mandatory and Pavlik has been looking for any opponent he could get recently and Hopkins is the only one they could sign.

    If all goes well and the fights get made i wouldn't mind:-

    Calzaghe-RJJ
    Pavlik-Hopkins
    Abraham-Marquez

    Pavlik-Calzaghe
    Abraham-Winky/Williams (if it gets made)

    Pavlik-Abraham whether Pavlik wins or loses

    Plenty of time for this to happen. Can't accuse Pavlik of ducking him. Abraham is only after making inroads into America to even make this fight a possibility. Has to be given more time to build a rivalry.

    Moving up two division to face P4P top 4 opponents back to back is a h*ll of a way to avoid someone who is rated #2 in ur division...

    Pavlik is avoiding AA in the same way Dawson is ducking Diacunuu. :lol:

    By facing tougher opponents.

    Pavlik doesn't avoid anyone, he has mentioned Abraham as a potenail opponent before and wants to fight him eventally. It should happen sometime down the road

    Arn Anderson is retired, due to a neck injury, he had several vertabrae fused. Pavlik is all set to fight the Cream of Wheat man in October.
