The difference is, most other people aren't professional athlete's with a big fight just over a month away. The dude is wasted in that video, literally pissing his career away.

Nothing wrong with partying but not before a career defining fight. Dude can't stay sober for a couple of months?

So you think its ok for you to get drunk, but its not ok for a former world champ who is a multi millionair to have a few drinks on a Saturday before training camp starts?

    He's a "recovering" alcoholic.

Thats what you hear from a lot of people that probably want Pavlik to get off his butt and start making them money. Pavlik would have to be superman to be a real heavy daily drinker and to be giving the likes of Sergio Martinez tough fights.

Yep. Looks like he's "recovering" the same steps that made him an alcoholic from that video.

I have absolutely nothing against a guy having a few drinks to have a bit of fun or unwind. However, if you've admitted to being an alcoholic and you're still drinking when you're suppose to be in recovery, you're lying to yourself about how you're doing.

Add to that the upcoming fight that he needs to show well in for his career, then it's just plain stupid to be drinking.

Ward will have an easy time with Pavlik.

I was just talking to Boo Radley, he assured me Pavlik just had a head cold and hasn't touched a drop of alcohol in over a year.
