:admin :admin :admin Knocking out Ricky Hatton at Welterweight does not warrant a top 10 atg spot. Collazo beat him at Welterweight, we'll move him to 15th.

There's going to be this sort of craziness for a couple of days and until then there's really no point in asking/answering questions like this. There are to many crazy people about.

Slaughtering an old Aturo Gatti, of course!

Maybe even slaughtering the talented Carlos Baldomir?

Seriously though, I feel top 10 is out of Floyd's reach. If he beats Williams, Margarito, Cotto, and Mosley convincingly he's top 15.

Maybe it's just me and I don't know jack ****, but I can't understand for the life of me why Mayweather is all of a sudden this modern great because he beat Hatton. :rofl He was a modern great before that on the account of his accomplishments. His resume is gay though.

I posted this because I wanted to see just how much hysteria, this bull**** victory against Hatton of all people at welter. A guy on the level of a Ray Mancini at best. To see Just how little some of these oposters know about boxing History and true greatness. There is a vast difference between skill and greatness. PBF has not crossed that line yet. Better yet go ask some of the old timers on the classics section. Go there and get schooled

Were would you place Oscar ?

"If he beats Williams, Margarito, Cotto, and Mosley convincingly he's top 15. "

Do u realise that this list never ends ?

And please explain to me how would victory over Margarito hwo in fact hasn't fought anyone, he is not a champion and has a record 35/5, could contribute to Mayweather greatness ??

I mean Baldomir at least had a world title you know. He hasn't lost for 7 years before the fight with Mayweather and most of all he was a good preparation for the fight with Oscar.

Gatti ?? You can make fun of Gatti but people ill watch his fights after 20 and 40 years. WHo will watch Margarito after 10 years? His grand kids maybe.

Mosley?? If you saw his fight with Cotto I guess you realise that it is not the same Mosley. His chances against the guy I saw on the ring today are close to 0 . And everyone will keep saying that Floyd again is fighting old people.

Williams?? Barely someone gonna watch it. What would be the Floyds interest ??? If he wins everyone will be like: aha Floyd is fighting chumps only.

There is always someone to fight, new young, good fighters grow up and become top contenders you cannot fight everyone.

"Do u realise that this list never ends ?"

I've just told you that if he goes and schools those fellas, I at least will recognise Mayweather as Top 15. Mind you, only because I know he won't fight them. It isn't him.

"And please explain to me how would victory over Margarito hwo in fact hasn't fought anyone, he is not a champion and has a record 35/5, could contribute to Mayweather greatness ??"

There aren't any boxers around with enough world class for him to beat and therefore be put into the top 15 of all time, therefore if he just showed the will to beat everybody, I'd give him credit for that. Margarito called him out, he should fight him, regardless.

"Gatti ?? You can make fun of Gatti but people ill watch his fights after 20 and 40 years. WHo will watch Margarito after 10 years?"

If Margarito and Gatti met in the ring, it would end inside the distance. If Gatti is good enough for Mayweather's record, so is Margarito.

"Williams?? Barely someone gonna watch it. What would be the Floyds interest ???"

Oh I don't know, he's world champion. Mayweather is a boxer after all and therefore he's required to get in the ring and box somebody.

If Mayweather is not prepared to get in the ring with world champions in his weight class like Cotto and Williams, and fight tough fighters like Margarito who call him out then he don't deserve to be an ATG in my eyes. He took the Hatton fight 'cus he realised Hatton was one dimensional, he said it himself. Okay King Floyd, fight a much more talented BOXER in Paul Williams. Fight a much more proven and equally skilled fighter in Cotto to prove your greatness. Don't fight C grade fighters as you call them then demand respect after being them.

Hes on his way.. in order to be top 10 i would say he would have to beat Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, Cintron, Williams, if he would want to shoot right up through to the top 10 immediately, if he won a title at 160 would be amazing

Floyd is top 20 in my book already. 6 time champ, 5 weight classes. What can you argue seriously?

If he unifies welter he's top 10 easy.
