How much does the win over Aguilera prove?

    No, he´s not.
The win proved nothing. Peter knocked him out, but nothing more.
Nothing about sweet science to be seen in that one.

it shows he has his mojo back. He took out Aguilera and i think with good condition he is a power to be reckoned with still. He's back.

He said he was bringing back the old nigerian nightmare style, he did just that. It's either Povetkin or Wlad next.

it proves he stays busy now, 5 fights in 12 months, unlike guys like tua with 1 fight in 3 years. it proves he can beat the **** out of a guy that knocked out a guy in Mascaev in 1 round who incidentally was trying to force vitali to fight him as some kind of mandatory.
so to sum it up...if he stays busy, he will be the most dangerous guy out there....

That style works for Peter. Than they turned him into a boxer and Peter was to heavy. Very sad he did not work on his fitness as a Champion.

Nice to see him back. :thumbsup

I too thought that was a horrible thing to do to Peter. That would be like Steward trying to turn Wlad into a brawler. That fighting style would not work for Wlad, just like trying to make Peter a boxer/puncher. His brawling style is what got him the title in a sense, so why try and change what works?

Peter will have success if matched right but he is out-classed when it comes to either Klitschko brother or top boxers like Chambers.

i would like to see him and povetkin. Good challenge for both. BUT IMO He will lose to both Klitsckos again if that comes down the pipe

Agreed, but, given the three knckdowns in the fist fight, he is a great money making and legacy making fight for Wlad if they have a rematch.

But Peter has improved a bit since facing Chambers. Peter might be the next David Tua. He might lose to top boxers like Klitschko or Chambers, but he's going to whack some guys out of there.

I'd like to see Peter Ko the winner of Haye vs Ruiz.

I agree with you but I won't go so far as to say he has improved. It is easy to look like you have improved against over-matched opponents.
