Is Philladelphia Jack O'Brien underrated?

    O'Brien was a middleweight.

    He got the better of Burns in a 6 round ND at 158, according to boxrec anyway, I never looked into it.

    It was an official decision awarded to O'Brien by referee Malachy Hogan.

    I know he was a middleweight but we are being asked how good he was at light heavy.

    I haven't a clue, all I know is he was classed as a lightweight from1900 to about 1906. You're the historian why don't you tell us?
