I never mention Dunne in a thread involving Munroe unless he has been brought up, let's face it, the thread starter knows **** all about Poonsawat and this thread was made to have a pop at Dunne, for no reason other than he's Irish by the looks of things. If Dunne was so ****, than why is Poonsawat the man to beat? His best win is against either Dunne or Sithchatchawal, or Cordoba but Dunne beat him and I thought he beat Poonsawat.

I haven't seen the Cordoba/Poosawat fight so can't comment, but Cordobas record does stack up better than the Thais I think.

I agree with the bolded part BTW

It was pretty good, you should watch it. Not saying Cordoba was robbed, but it was a close fight and I thought he just about shaded it.

You can always tell the fans who don't box that post on forums like this because they always try to put down a fighter... you see anyone who go's in to the ring knows how brave it is and then has the cop on to respect everyone else that does.
Simple fact is Dunne and Munroe and Booth are ALL decent boxers in the top 10 ranking that got their because they ALL deserved it.

I respect them but Munroe and especially Booth got into some top 10's because Vasquez, Marquez, Juanma and Caballero moved up.

Except Dunne didn't pay Poonsawat to go away, he had the balls to take on his mandatory unlike Khan. Also Cordoba is a much better fighter than Kotelnik so although you Brits don't recognise Dunne as a legit world champion (he's no Gavin Rees I'll give you that ) he beat a more credible opponent to win his title than Khan did.

Whambam, Poon's fights against Cordoba, Honoso, Sidorenko, Satoshi and Dunne are on youtube in full, so you could easily have went on there to take a look and came to your own conclusions unless of course your thread's purpose was to take a pop at Dunne. To answer your question, Poonsawat would beat both Booth and Andy Morris' leftovers Munroe, as would Dunne despite is poor chin.

We'll never know because Munroe turned down a career high payday to fight Dunne for the EBU title. We'll also never know how Booth and Munroe would do against Poon will we?

Tell me what you think afterwards, it was a close fight, maybe start a thread on it or something, fighters like this need to be recognised more:good

Bernard Dunne, a 'World champion'? :rofl Funny as ****, **** fighter too.

Nishioka is better than Poonsewat for my money.
