who is wound up though? Its the most boring thing in the world to come on here act like a total cúnt being and irritating clown and then washing your hands of it by saying you "were only joking" and that "its a wind up".

If it was in anyway subtle or funny or original then fair enough, everyone could appriciate that, but its not - its the same boring arséholes, saying the same boring shít over and over again.

What are you? 12? All its doing to this place is drive away anyone with any modicum of intelligence from wanting to engage in a sensible discussion about boxing or dragging decent posters down to a moronic level. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I am so wound up I am punching the screen at the moment, freaking out, ripping up trees, drop kicking my boss off the top rope.

Actually I am a little wound up but not why you think, I am not wound up because of some defensive mechanism to cyber protect Irish fighters but because its seems to be acceptable, even actively encouraged, to come on here and talking pish! Its just so obvious and transparent and ruins this place.

You need to grow up my son.

Favourite British fighter at the mo' is Frochy, McCloskey is quality though, as were Jimmy McLarnin and The Original Jack Dempsey, both top-notch Irish fighters.

The "wind up" merchants on this forum always come away looking like complete ****s  If you have an opinion just have the balls to come out and say it instead of pretending you're on a wind up when you're proved wrong. Keep it up lads, you'll be rivalling the GF soon enough. Rob, you are a constant source of amusement, on the majority of the threads you post in you are shown up to be totally clueless :good

Dude, you seem to think there is an 'anti-Irish' thing going on here, which is totally not the case. There's just a lot of hype surrounding oridnary fighters, just a backlash, that's all.

I never rate/hate a fighter based on their nationality, I don't necessarily like all British fighters, and most of my all-time favourite fighters are not British.

But Bernard Dunne was an over achiever. Through sheer heart he battled through his poor punch resistance and beat a highly-touted and decent opponent in Cordoba. That achievments cannot go unnoticed, many on here picked it as THE BEST FIGHT of 2009, and rightfully so.

But it doesn't make Dunne a special fighter, and the likes of Lee still have it all to prove IMO. Of course there are gonna be some jibes, but it filters back. It's all a laugh boys :good

Irish people here are way too easily wound up, instead of taking the **** back they go on the defensive straight away. It gets really embarassing at times actually:-(

I don't know why some people are so anti-Bernard Dunne.

We all know he had a dodgy chin but it's not like no fighter in boxing history has ever had a bad chin. At least Dunne was willing to face Poonsawat! Many other fighters find ways out of facing their mandatories.

Froch is an overachiever, he's a very ordinary fighter who is slow as molasses and wouldn't have made it past domestic level if it wasn't for his chin and heart. He was lucky to have beat a weight drained Pascal to win the title, was getting a schooling from Taylor before he gassed, and got a gift decision against the very green Dirrell. All in all he's a pretty **** fighter...ah no I'm just on a wind up, it's all a laugh boys :good

Wasnt this a thread about Poonsawat? Fair enough the thread starter knows **** all about him but why are you all talking ****? If Irish people hate it so much why do they come on to what is the ''British'' forum?

Weren't you the one who brought up Dunne in the first place? You started defending him on page 1 of the thread.

Trolls trolls everywhere, let's all have a bite.

I'm only going to answer the title of the thread rather than anything that's really been contained in it. Poonsawat and Nishioka are the two men to beat at the weight, I'd regard them as pretty much even and a fight between the two would conclusively decide the 'man' at the weight.

Both Poonsawat and Nishioka are facing good solid contenders in their next fights but I don't expect either to be troubled too much.
Hopefully a fight between the two is made soon but for some reason I get the feeling it'll be one of those fights that never happens.

I think poonsawats the top man at SBW. It will be interesting to see how Rigondeaux progresses over the next year though.
IMO Poonsawat beats booth and munroe easily. Both would last longer than Dunne did though.
Nothing to do with the thread but since everyone else is at it imo Dunne wins a UD against Munroe and I aint sure about a fight with Booth.Would be close though
