Let's hope he fights Vitali after he's done with Wlad. It would be great to see a new unified champ. I think Vitali would take that fight too once he sees his brother scrawled out on the canvas again.

Povetkin has arguably the best amateur record at super-heavyweight of all time, with about ten Gold medals in total.

As a pro, he undefeated and has a good KO ratio.

He did have one difficult fight barely getting past Huck, and racist Euro-haters love to bring that up. But everyone has a fight like that sometime, and Huck is an underrated fighter.

 

If he beats Wlad, we can start to discuss whether he has a chance to crack the top 100. As it stands now he is not even close. From what i have seen of him, he would clearly lose to a fighter like Ray Mercer (who is nowhere near the top 50) and would probably get stopped by a prime Tommy Morrison. Povetkin has shown virtually zero fire in the pros and stands out as a protected fighter in the worst era in heavyweight history.

I'd say after he puts Voidimir to sleep in round one he'll have an argument for top 37.

If he then stops Voidtali he'd be top 26-29, depending on whether Voidtali is KO'd or retires on his stool before round 1.
