i mean. to be honest.. he doesn't look that special.. and years ago there were people hyping him up to be the one to beat wlad.... im talking like in 2006-2007, and 2008..before he started to duck wlad..

i don't think he is that much better then chambers, yeah he beat eddie, but that was more for povetkin having a higher workrate in that fight then eddie... i still think chambers can beat povetkin

is he that skilled, is he that powerful, fast, chin??

    have you ever watched him??

he is pretty good he had a quick rise but stalled since earning contention and his opposition has suffered

this chag fight will show us just how much progress he has really made since chambers

he is good just not capable of beating a klitschko

i think he made the smart choice by not fighting wlad, he would have got pummeled

I think he's quick, good chin, good power, and good workrate. The only thing I haven't seen from him is his ring IQ. He did pretty well against Chambers, though.

He is good, how can it be doubted? Look at both his pro and amateur history.

Not bad. I've always said his top two wins at the weight class are better than either Haye or Adamek's top two. The rest of the names on his resume are similar to theirs as well.

I actually think Chambers, on a good night, can outclass Povetkin. With Atlas-induced atrophy, it's very possible in a rematch. The first time they fought, Eddie simply quit, but I don't see it happening again.

He's possibly the 3rd best HW around, it's either him or Adamek. I think if he beats Chagaev well then yes he will leap frog Adamek and become the 3rd best HW. Also if Povetkin adds Chagaev to his resume then with Donald, Chambers and Byrd he will then have a fantastic resume. One better than a lot of HW champions from past garbage era's in fact.

no he aint skilled, has no power and his chin is questionable..
Chambers was fat and out of shape of course hes better than Povetkin. Chambers just got outworked in the later rounds after he schooled Povetkin in the early rounds.. thats Povetkins big strength he would just come in and throw a million flurries like a windmill to outwork his opponent but Atlas could very well have taken it away from him as it looks..
Povetkin brings absolutely nothing to the table that could bother Wlad the slightest bit..

    Povetkin has a glass jaw.
Fight with Chambers was fixed. Watch closely early rounds. Amazing that people can't see that.
