I'm not saying with 100% certainty that Povetkin surely takes this match, or anywhere near the "extremely confident" level, but you would be an idiot to go huge on Wlad for this fight. First off, you are probably only going to make .1 - .2 cents on the dollar, and second off Povetkin is all wrong style-wise for Wlad. You may come out with your Wlad win, but imo that is just horrible betting for the odds you are going to get for stylistic nightmare for your guy.

that is a misconception. i implore u to watch wlad deliver his jab, right-cross then compare it to Chambers'. Wlad's is just as quick and sharp with a boatload more power.

don't believe everything u read on here, go to the video tape and decide for yourself :deal

i also see a lot of Povetkin apologists/Wald haters saying Povetkin was just off his game and he'lll be better. yet people point to wlad's losses from 5 years ago and use that as a basis for a current prediction. if wlad is on his game, povetkin is roadkill. end of story.

povetkin fans/wald haters, put your money where your mouth is and accept my lifetime ban bet on wlad-povetkin :fire

I know you aren't naming people but honestly I am not a Wlad hater. Do I think he is a weak unified champion? Slightly, yes. But he is still a great fighter nontheless. I don't even necessarily think that Povetkin is a better fighter; it's just that styles make fights and Povetkin is wrong for Wlad. The opposite of that statement is also true, but like I said earlier betting-wise it makes Povetkin a great gamble. I would happily make a bet with you on this fight, just nothing extreme :D

If he decisively beats Povetkin I will be extremely impressed. Personally I have Povetkin as his greatest threat out there so Wlad will get my respect 100% if he beats him (and tons of praise if its convincingly).
I am pretty high on Povetkin. Povetkin has his flaws, but overall he is underrated right now imo because of the Chambers fight, which is funny because Chambers is a solid B level undefeated fighter in his prime that Povetkin still decisively beat on a VERY off night for him.
This will be a close fight imo and right now I give the odds something like this: Povetkin tko 30%, Povetkin decision 25%, Wlad t/ko 30%, Wlad decision 15%. Most won't agree with me, but I have my reasons :D

I've watched both of them fight many times. Chambers has the fastest hands in the division right now, Wlad has fast hands for a super heavyweight but it's his exceptional foot speed that makes the difference. I'd pick Wlad over Povetkin right now anyway, if the last two paragraphs are directed to me ;)

    You are an idiot.

He was not "almost beat". Not even close. He won a mile wide UD.

I will bet on Povetkin easily winning over anybody in the June Ring top 10, but Klitchko. Yes, that includes Peter, who will get his ears boxed off, Ibragimov, Maskaev, Virchis, Thompson, Ruiz, Chagaev and Valuev.

Povetkin is a #2, or maybe #3 heavyweight at this moment. And even against #1 Wlad his chances are ****ing far from zero. He will be the best fighter Wlad ever faced.

Yeah I like Bruce Lee myself. My favorite fighter is Jackie Chan. I have about 25 of his old movies before he made it in america. I also watch Jet Li, Donnie Yen, and Gary Daniels.

Of course I love Kung-Fu flicks. I would like to see Yen do some more movies over here. He has not ahd that one movie to really make him main stream inthe usa. Have you seen The Forbidden King. Chan and Li have one the best fight seens I have ever seen!
